I had seen this a year ago and emailed her about info on the pups and why would she do that. Didn't receive a reply. It's not going to help to just be mad about it but to actually do something. But what can we do? She is breeding for the small size but in the eyes of the law that isn't something 'wrong'.. All I can do is try to educate people about the problems of 'teacups' and why what she is doing is wrong...

And I forgot to add that sometimes when you advertise that what this breeder is doing is wrong and what not that sometimes people end up getting a pup from them because you were wdvertising about that pup..... Everyone don't think alike and will want to buy that small pup that you said isn't going to be healthy... I have seen it. People at Petland still goes in there after someone told them the wrongs of that place.... But atleat we can try our best to educate people to not go there and find someone who is better and reputable

Her prices are outrageous. Sometimes I think people think the more they pay for a pup the better the quality. I defiently don't agree with this philosophy.

Did anyone notice that all the pictures the little ones look soooo sad? I didn't see one that was smiling or happy.. really sad that people can get away with this. Then we wonder why so many animals are left without homes and no one to love them. It's a shame!

I posted about this because I thought it was awful - and I actually think the opposite. If I didn't know anything about buying a pup, and I came here - and saw someone informing me of a site that I should NOT buy from - then I would take their advise and steer clear. However, if there are people out there that do what you say and buy from such a site regardless, after being "warned", then I am sorry to be harsh - but that is their business, and IMO - their mistake.

Oh, I totally agree with you. .. but I was saying that some people have their mind set on a type of dog and no matter what you think of that place they are getting that dog from, will get it from them. And just because someone post about a place being bad doesn't mean they are and somepeople will see that and look into it futher and may think it's for them. It's my view (POV) that not everyone will take a bad review and think the same way that viewer thought... I didn't say everyone thought that because everyone thinks different.... But I know for a fact that just because someone thought something is bad doesn't mean the other person will think it's bad and the way the person (the one that says a place is bad) will go about showing how they don't agree will help determine if they are a good judge of character (get it.. I confuses myself )... I mean if someone says this or that site is bad and and start writing horrible emails to that site then I wouldn't want to follow that person.... AHHH... I'm soooo confused

LOL....well, my POV is that this breeder isn't a good one if she is purposely breeding tiny dogs. That's all this thread was about

.....your post wasn't awful. I never said that. I said that the reason I started THIS THREAD was because I thought it was awful. Meaning that it is awful (of course - MY OPINION ) that this lady is breeding SPECIFICALLY for "tiny, mico, teacup, blah blah blah dogs" and ADMITS it. I think it's awful, bottom line

I don't think it matters what the priice is...no one is forced to purchase a dog for that price. If someone has $5000.00 to spend on a dog I would think they would be smart enough to make sure they get a healthy dog. And hhave a vet check it before taking the dog. My dog was very little when I got him but he weighs 9.5 pounds now.
The proof of what the breeeder is doing lies in what size the dogs are when full grown. And if they remain healthy. Certaiinly a person buying a tiny pup like that for $5000.00 would insist to see several mature dogs that he has sold. As well as the parents of a pup for sale.
The pups didn't look sad to me.
