My sister Renee has cervical cancer...AGAIN
 

Hello, YT folk!

I know it's been a long long time since I have posted, and I do miss all you longtimers! I have become involved in many things this past year and it has truly limited my on-line time. However, some friends of mine have reminded me that there are some people here that do care about me, and would want to know about this important time in my life right now.

I posted in May of 2006 when my sister Renee went through her first bout of cervical cancer, and many of you sent her wonderful email messages. In August of 2007, Ren was diagnosed with a return of the cancer, and had surgery which has been extremely difficult for her to recover from.

I would love it if you could visit this website that we set up for her, and I leave it to you to do what you will.

Oh that poor girl - sending prayers your way and will go to the site. I've been going thru the worst month of my life too and know how she feels - Please tell her she has prayers from Houston coming her way and keep her chin up ~~ they can do amazing things these days with cancer

As hard as it is, you have to try, and stay positive for her, i know you can do it!

Glad, I am so terribly sorry! It has been an unbelievably difficult year! I will be praying for Renee and her family as they face the days ahead.

How could you think we wouldn't remember you, you stinker!! There is a "cult" following that do love and miss you!! :) I know this is extremely heartwrenching for you, but just remember, we will be praying for you too!!

Glad, I am ever so sorry to hear that your sister's cancer has recurred. I would imagine the surgery was so hard on her and I do hope it helped. I must say that prayers help on this site and I am so glad you posted You are the sweetest dearest person and always so good to me and to everyone. We miss you on YT. You were surely one of the brightest lights here.

Villette, I know about your hard time in your life, sweetheart, I posted on your candle page a while back. I am so sorry about the loss of your dear husband, and am sure that it is difficult for you to pick up all the pieces of your life right now. Hang in there, sweet girl!!

Going back and forth from NC to VT to be by Ren's side has been very draining for me. I’m lucky to have a job that lets me to spend this much needed time with my sister. I’m sure after you read the website we set up you will understand why I have been missing around here. My girls Wosie & Dreama are doing great, but they do miss me a lot when I’m gone. I have missed being here, and wanted you all to know, I think of you all often, and read posts when I can.

Cancer has taken away so many of our family members. I will not let Ren give up without a fight! I would love it if you could visit her website. My brother Brian created it and my son Darek wrote the article on the main page. I am so proud of my family for pulling together on Ren's behalf, and we have already had a major response from the community.

RenFest should be AWESOME!!

I'm sure with all the caring people out there...Ren's website will be visited by many cyber friends. There are so many people whose lives have been touched by cancer.

And to those of you that continue to respond to this thread and look at the site, even though I don't know you very well, I appreciate you VERY much!!!:) Please feel free to email the website to cancer survivors and medical folk you know. It's amazing to me how many organizations that are going to participate in Renfest!! The American Heart Association, The American Diabetes Association, the Vermont Cancer Center, the American Cancer Society, and others will all be represented and will hand out information at RenFest! Should be awesome!

Renee, prayer's coming for you once again that you keep up your strength
and fight this dreadly desease. I have lost several member's to cancer and
know the devestating effects is can leave behind. Thinking positivie
thoughts and prayer's can fight it. Miracle's do happen and I pray there
is one waiting for you.
