OH WHAT A WONDERFUL IDEA!! Gina, I just love you , honey!!!

Ren is indeed back in the hospital. She was only out for 2 days, and had to go back. We found out that the reason she was having fevers and cold sweats was a staph infection. She has to have big gun antibiotics now for a couple weeks, the doc said, and cannot start chemo until the infection is cleared. It is completely unreal that she is not yet recovered from the surgery she had 50 days ago today. Unbelievable. My poor sis!

I found a cervical cancer rememberance pin at the hospital here and I sent it to her. Ren called me in tears because she has been asking everyone to find one for her, and I did it. So sweet! I just love my baby sis so much, and I can't believe this is happening to her. It's so awful!

One of the worst things for Ren is the fact that she misses her pup Bella. Bella is a 7 year old jack russell girl, and she is the cutest funniest thing! Bella Boo is staying with our brother, and she is doing really well, but I am sure she misses her skin mom too. We asked Ren if she wanted us to bring Bella in to the hospital, but she thinks B would be too out of control and bark and piddle too much, lol.

Hi Glad, I have been watching this thread like a hawk to get an update. To think she has a staph infection with everything else is just not fair. I hope when the chemo starts it isn't too hard on her. How are you holding up, you must be so busy getting ready for the 13th. YT prayers work that is for sure and all of us that know about this wonderful idea of Gina's will be out there looking for the brightest star with a prayer. Star night works like this...I think...on the 13th we all go outside and find the brightest star in the sky. Then as we gaze at that beautiful star, we pray for Ren and think the happiest thoughts possible!!! We pray for her recovery and for her to feel better each and every day...and we pray for you and the rest of the family...that you can all hold up under all the stress...just a way to show that we love you and care so much about you!!!

Aw Joanie honey, you are just the sweetest of the sweet! :) I am so excited that you are are doing a star night for Ren the night of the 13th! I will be sure to announce it during our set, and maybe I will get the whole crowd to go out, too, just like all of you! We expect a few hundred people, so combined with YT, that would be pretty amazing!
