| This is amazing! Wow! Go watch this...it's kind of long! I wanted to grab that baby out of the pool! http://www.childdrowningprevention.com/index.html Think we could teach this to our yorkies? LOL

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | That's insane. Amazing, but insane. I'd be afraid of the kid being terrified of water for life. Seems traumatic to be left crying in the pool for 5 minutes. Then again, I suppose they know what they're doing. Scary to watch, though.

| I think it's great that they teach the babies how to survive the water. It would sure save a lot of kids from drowning. I just wonder where the mother was for 5 minutes.

| Wow. BUt I have to wonder would the kids actually be able to do that in a real world situation with no adults around. My thought would be that they probably wouldnt remember what to do and panic and drown. With the baby on the video someone is right there probably coaxing him on what to do.

| I agree with Alaska Yorkie, this is insane. I really hate pools with small children but I think I have heard of better security measures. Thanks for posting Connie it's always good to see what some are trying to teach.

| WOW WOW I have tears seeing this. No matter what I think it would be great to teach baby's. I taught my daughter something like this and not that I would just let a little baby unattended by a pool, but if something did happen and they had this skill. It would greatly improve survial. WOW |

| That was a long time for him to be in there!! I'm going to share this with our son who is a Lifeguard, and swimming teacher. Thanks for the link Connie His smile at the end was priceless, but I really feel that was a long time for him to be in there, his poor little ears I bet are full of water.

Peeka Boo I See You! Donating Member | OMG!!! Yes i see it may be useful for them to learn but that was so sad for them to leave that baby there like that for that long he was in distress crying that was horrible. I feel awful that parent would be that careless and do that

| This was staged and filmed to bring awareness. No mother was neglectful. All my boys were swimming by two months old. I think all kids should be taught how to swim, and while were on the subject of safety, gun safety should be taught as well as self defence! |
