| Buying a dog to help your credit Today I went to help out at another store, and I over heard a couple of the girls talking. I had to bite my tongue, I was at work, it wasn't my store, and I wasn't in the conversation. I didn't want any work related drama..it was very hard to keep my mouth shut though (my fiance said he's very proud of me!) So these girls are talking, and they were talking about credit. One says how she bought her dog from Petland, well charged it and it's like 20%, but it helps her credit! How cruel! To buy an animal to boost up your credit! Buying from a petstore is bad enough, but for this reason! And I thought parents who buy dogs for their toddlers as playmates was bad! UGH I can't believe seem people. She was talking about the dog, it sounds like she does care for her dog and all, and she mightve just bought the dog, then realized that it helps her credit as well..but it still made my stomach turn!

| Oh my. Thats horrible. If you don't have the money or need the credit, a dog is not the way to go! I would never think about buying a dog to get credit!!! Thats animal cruelty. I wish I could take ALL the dogs with bad owners into my home! |

| It was probably the other way around, like you mentioned in your post. She probably bought the dog because she wanted a dog (and was uneducated about pet stores), and then realized it helped her credit. I know how you feel though. I get really upset when people even mention pet stores, and I need to bite my tongue as well...
