Have you heard this? The Canadian dollar is expected to be on par or surpass the US dollar in value by the end of the week. Bad news if you ask me...bad for tourism, bad for trade, and especially bad for my US stock portfolio.

I cringe every time it jumps a cent.

Only good thing is shopping. Border hopping and Ebay are about to be a REALLY good deal for us Canadians!

lol I'm planning on doing lots of shopping but I have to admit that this could be the beginning of some scary times in the Western World. I've heard that they think that China may end up having the strongest dollar which would make them quite powerful.
