| I need computer help... I need to know how to delete a program off of my computer. My boyfriend plays Everquest, and he installed it on to our computer. But, he told me he would quit playing it if I could figure out how to uninstall the game. He even went out and bought a new copy of the game to try to uninstall it, but can't figure out how to do it. Anyone know computers well enough to get this off mine???

| Click on start, go to settings, then to control panel. When you get to the control panel you'll see a selection for add, delete programs. Click on it, and look for the game. It will give you an option to delete it. Click on it and away it goes.

| Hmm, that didn't work. I clicked on the Change/Remove option next to the program, and it didn't do anything.

| click on start and go to where the game is in the directory and see if there's an uninstall feature there The next thing I would suggest is to go to the support section of that game's website and search for how to uninstall. IDK My boys are always putting &*() on my computer! lol

| Unfortunately, the game isn't listed in the start menu. And I attempted all of the uninstall techniques that the online support site offered. My BF says that I will have to reformat the harddrive and make a backup disk of the things I want to save.

| maybe the game is not list on the start menu but the manufacture should be. Look at the box see who makes it and then do start, programs and then look for the manufacture. |

| Yeah, I tried that too, but that is a great suggestion. It is made by Sony, so I did find the files under that, but it gave me no uninstall options. I am going to have to take my computer to a pro, that's for sure.

| ok last idea....go start....find/search.....file....type in everquest*.exe that should tell you were the files are located. Then go in to that location and look for the uninstall file. Good luck! |

| Yep, I did that, too. Sigh!!! Haha, you have great suggestions, because these are the things my sister told me, she worked with a computer programmer for about 3 years. So I did search for the game title, and erased as much as I could, so at least the game won't be playable, but was still unable to uninstall it. There were options to install, but not uninstall. Weird, because every other program I've installed on my computer has an uninstall option. I wish there was an icon for pulling my hair out!!!
