| Can someone recommend a good Maltese breeder in the Southeast? My sister who has a 5 year old yorkie is looking to add a Maltese to her family! She called me and asked if I could help her find a good breeder. Of course I told her the first place I would look is for recommendations from YorkieTalkers!!!!!!!! So, does anyone know of any good Maltese breeders in the Southeast???? She wants a male, 4-6lbs and is looking to spend around $500. She is hoping to get the little guy around May, but of course it's always best to start looking for good breeders early! So, any recommendations would be more than appreciated!!!!!!! |

| There are (or were) a few really good breeders in the Huntsville area. Unforgettable and Coquet. I can try to get their info for you...you may be able to find something from a web search. Very nice quality dogs. |

| In my experience, maltese run much higher than $500...they seem to be priced similarly to yorkies. I love Rhapsody Maltese in Texas. www.rhapsodymaltese.com Their males are quite a bit less expensive than their females. They have gorgeous dogs Divinity Maltese in Texas is another breeder. www.divinitymaltese.com

| The only maltese i've ever seen for $500 is an oversized CKC boy in the newspaper. If she wants a good breeder she's looking at atleast 1000 to 2500 for a male I love tajon http://www.tajonmaltese.com/puppies/puppies.html Last edited by chloeandj; 09-15-2007 at 03:03 PM. |
