| Flight of the Hummingbird - or why it is hard to work at home I love watching the hummers. Sometimes there are 10 - 12 flitting around the back porch. Here is a short video -- You can see 4 of them -- turn the volume up and listen to them fuss http://www.dropshots.com/chattiesmom...09-15/16:39:16 |

| I LOVE watching them. They are so inquisitive once they get used to you being around--will just fly right up to you and check you out. I commend you capturing them on film...I tried, but my eyes wouldn't let me keep up with the little buggers. We had some babies here earlier. They are so funny and entertaining when they start playing and chasing each other. Thanks for sharing the clip! |

| I didn't get my feeders up this year, but will definitely get them up next year. We love watching them. They got so they knew the dogs were on the other side of the window and they didn't scare off unless one of them barked. So incredible to watch.

| I'm not positive, but I believe they are the ruby red throats. We just grow 'em big here in Georgia |

| That was very relaxing, which I needed. My nerves are worn down to the bottom.

| Oh I wouldn't get any work done either! I LOVE hummingbirds! When I was still living at home they would fly into our sun room and not be able to find there way out. We would catch them and they'd sit still right on our fingers. We'd have to wiggle them to try and get them to fly off and sometimes even give them a gentle little nudge. They would just sit there and look at us.
