| What To Bring Back From Germany??? Ok, I have a question for every one who has been to Germany or is from there.... I am going back home for Christmas this year (1st time in 2 yrs) and I want to bring back something from Germany, for everyone in my family... What would you recommend I should bring back, as a cool gift. (I am looking to spend about 10 to 15 euro on each person.) I am already bring candy back for everyone but I would like to bring something more then that, Ya know.. something that will last forever... Any input would really help. Thanks, Olivia |

| Hi.. Hope you have a great trip. My sister and her then husband went to Germany to visit his parents. I have no idea what she spent but She brought back chocolate for everyone and she also brought back crystal. Apparently, it is very reasonable of there. She also brought back cuckoo clocks? All her gifts were a hit....Oh yeah, she also brought her friends sweaters.....

Donating YT 2000 Club Member | Well you of course should get a Biewer. I like the German chocolates idea, but I am a chocolate-addict. Welcome back to the States--I know it has been awhile. |

| nut crackers steins you can win them at the carnivals cheap i collected spoons from all the places i had visited find one of the markets they have or something crafty. You'll find something unique and specific to Germany. Is Drake Kaserne still open?

Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Black Forest cuckoo clocks! We bought a nice one 7 years ago, and it is my favorite part of the living room. Still works great too. Of course, they can be pricy. I agree with Tiggerwit on nutcrackers and steins. Cheap and nice. Cheaper? Gummy bears! Where are you going? We spent a week in Wiesbaden and then spent a night in Titisee, where we bought our cuckoo clocks. Loved it.

| I'm sure they'll love whatever you bring, but I know you'd be happy to bring home a Biewer. They're great.

| Obviously I meant to say "biewer" on my first post..... fingers weren't working like I wanted when I misspelled it. But seriously, I would love to have a cuckoo clock! As for small gifts, I wish I knew more of what Germany offered. I was actually born in Frankfurt and we lived in Giesen (sp?) for about a year. My dad was in the service then. Have a great time!
