I just need to whine for a minute...

I hate being home sick!

I've got the worst cold I think I've ever had, and haven't really gotten out of bed (ok, well, to come on here

) for two days! I'm so busy at work, but with the way my head feels, there is no way I could drive there let alone actually get any work done in the meantime! If it weren't for the chills and the body aches, I'd suck it up and go in with a sniffly nose and a headache, but everything HURTS. My clothes hurt and my hair hurts

Anyone ever had a cold like this? It almost seems like a flu bug, only I'm not in the bathroom.

Emma's taking good care of me and won't leave my side, but Milli's being a little booger, wandering off, getting into things...

You poor girl! It definitely sounds like one of those nasty upper respiratory flu bugs with all the symptoms you have. Those body aches are so miserable and just take all the joy out of life. Try soaking in a hot bath and see if that helps your body aches a bit. I feel so bad for you and will pray that you get over it quickly! I know there's OTC flu meds that help with those sypmtoms, but I don't know which ones to recommend. Get lots of rest! Sending lots of hugs and get well wishes!

I agree with Connie -- either an upper respiratory bur or perhaps a REAL sinus infection. Sending get well hugs

. If you lived closer I'd make you some home-made chicken noodle soup

oh Suzy i feel for you!! my first year university i had the worst cold i've ever had.. i couldn't even blink it hurt so bad. You might wnat to go to the doctors and make sure you don't have a sinus infection.. those suckers wont' go away on their own. Hope you get better soon! Layla sends kisses!

I just needed to whine for a bit, but I appreciate all your kind words! Hopefully I'll be back to normal again soon!

I had a sinus infection a few weeks back actually, but got over that and was fine. It feels different than that did-but I know colds can turn into those so if I'm not better tomorrow I'll go to the doctor. This thing came on like a little cold, and I worked Monday/Tuesday, but yesterday and today it's kicking my butt!
