A pacemaker is usually for a slow heart rate, although there are other types. An ICD is to shock the heart to restart it when it gets into a bad rhythm (usually too fast or too irregular).

It has been a few weeks I though I would let you all know Sam is doing great she even went back to school early.

Oh no, how awful!! I'm so sorry to hear this. I will definitely keep her in my thoughts and prayers. Poor girl, she's so young to be going through this.

Oh, I am sooo glad things are going better. Hopefully, her first day back was a great one!!! I'm still praying for her continued health.
