OMG we are having severe thunderstoms here they have knocked out the power to thousands of people here and now reports of 2 tornado's

we don't have tornado's here and now 2 of them and one being very close to me. Thank goodness i have power but everywhere around me is out it's so weird. we had rain so bad it flooded our street and knocked over trees

i am posting pics i got of the news site to show you guys! Please keep all our Utah Yt members in your thoughts tonight.

It was crazy as we had clouds running over eachother going north and blowing south!!

Omg you are definitely in my prayers!!!! Tornados are my biggest fear.

I bet ya'll are getting the spin off storms from the two hurricanes that hit today.

I hope that you are able to stay safe and keep power!

yes i am freaking out but it is calm right now so i am releived. They are telling us to stay in our houses tonight they fear there are to many live power lines down. It ripped steet signs out of the ground and was blowing things everywhere. i am watching the news to see what else is going on but it is crazy. Thank you so much!

Really is a scary feeling...please stay safe. We get these storms here in Illinois quite often. Wish you well, be prepared.

well the news said we had wind gusts of 70 miles per hour and over 41,000 people are without power! boy did i get lucky! the funny thing is that this isn't even the front it comes in tomarrow

I am safe i tried to call Eva (hokul'a) but was not able to get a hold of her

I hope she is ok and any other yt member her i hope you are all safe as well. This is extreme weather for us we are not used to it. Sorry if i am a little dramatic it freaks me out lol. I am safe and things have settled down we do have a lot of shingles blown off and alot of trees down but doing fine. This storm is heading west so i hope everyone else gets a calmer version of it.

Wow! Tornadoes are almost the norm here, and they still terrify me. Prayers heading to anyone in harm's way.

My goodness, Amber! Those are quite the pictures! You didn't take them did you?

Didn't you all have a storm like this last year, too? Or was it just in Provo? I remember my son sending me pictures. It sure is becoming more common around there these days! Remember the tornado that went through the Avenues and I think Memory Grove around the conference center a few years ago? Those kinds of things were unheard of when I lived there!

Stay safe. Hope you don't lose power!

Hey Amber, we're okay

I must've already been in bed when you called. That storm hit QUICK! We lost power for only a second, long enough to screw up the cable - LOL!

wow... crazy weather!!! We need some rain up there, but definately not that much! I hope everything is ok where you are now! Made it through the night with your electricity still?

Amber hope you are OK..I know it gets scary..we get tornados here too - seems like no matter where you live you have some sort of weather issue - tornado, hurricane, flood, earthquake, fires - they are all bad - just have to have your emergency kit ready for anything these days.
