If you don't feel better come morning, please call your doctor. You don't want to jeapordize your upcoming surgery by something terrible like a fall. I don't even want to get on my soapbox about them being responsible for your fall....... |
part of the reason I didn't want to go to the hospital was because I was afraid if anything else was wrong because of the fall that it might stall the surgery. I am very stressed and scared about the surgery how it is, I couldn't stand for it to be postponed. Kmart is suppose to call and check on me tomorrow. I have a copy of the accident report. |
Aaaaw... Roxanne, I am so sorry this happened to you last night. Hope you are feeling better this morning. If the dizziness persists though, please have yourself checked out by a doctor, even though it is the weekend. You don't want to take the chance Hon, that those stones moved in a way that could worsen your condition. You need to look after yourself, build up your strength before the surgery. We are all pulling for you here. Let us know how you are doing, and please, please take it easy in the next few days so that your body can recover as best it can from the fall. Hugs, Lauren |

So sorry to hear this. I agree with laurenr and Tink's Mom, it is only fair to your surgeon to know everything and certainly best for you. You are in my thoughts and i pray all works out well. Try not to be too stressed. |
i only was able to sleep a few hours at a time last night, I was hurting rather bad. I had to go and help set stuff up last night and today. There was really no other people to do it, so I just took my time when I could. I sat when I was getting dizzy. Not nearly as dizzy as yesterday but still happening. My ex boyfriend got drunk and said it was my fault...because I wasn't looking at the ground. BUT who looks at the ground when they are shopping. I was looking at the shelves at the stuff I wanted to buy, but I never expected a big puddle in the middle of the walk way either. He later said sorry and that it wasn't my fault. He asked me to please see a doctor if I am still hurting tomorrow. I have no insurance, I luckily got assistance for my surgery thru u of m. |
Try to get a nice warm - not hot - bath if you can tonight and tomorrow. It should help you relax. If you have some epsom salts, that will help too. I'm so sorry you're feeling bad from the fall. I hope you can heal from that quickly. Good luck on Wednesday! |
I ended up in the er on sunday night. I was in the worse pain I have had so far. Plus I was throwing up and extremely dizzy. My mom made it from north of flint down to ann arbor in record time...LOL. Turns out I have an urinary tract infection now as well. They said that might because of the stones. now they are saying the stones are on the same side. I am completely confused. I don't care as long as they are out of my body soon. I really think the throwing up and dizziness was from the fall, I didn't have those probs until after that. Kmart still has not called to check on me like they said they would. which I think is BS. If someone fell in my home or somewhere, I would at least call like I said I would and see how they are doing. My surgery is at 9 am and I have to be there at 7 30 am. I am very very scared. I am eager to get it over with BUT I am also extremely scared. I never had surgery in my life. |
You did tell them in the ER about the fall though, right? Just want to make sure they checked that out at the same time. No one needs any surprises when you're having surgery. This will be behind you very very soon and you can get starting on the mending process. We'll be thinking of you!! |
yes I told them about the fall. I even told them that I was not feeling sick to my stomach or dizzy until after the fall. I got an iv, some stronger pain meds and anti neasous meds while in the hospital. Then when I got home, I got an antibiotic. I will just be thrilled when this whole ordeal is over with. |
Wishing you all the best...give us an update when you can...and I would certainly contact the store and talk to them about that fall...it not doubt increased the pain you were already having... PS...glad to hear that boyfriend is an EX..! You do not need such a negative person in your life! Spend your life with positive people. Positive people, attract positive people and vise versa...Best wishes |
I'll be praying for you and like Pat said, I would surely get ahold of Kmart when your surgery is over and I would mention that you expected a call from them but nothing came. You're going to be ok, I just know it. Hugs, Joan |
How are you feeling now? Did you have the surgery? I hope that went well and that there were no repercussions from the fall. Quote:
