| Natalee Holloway I was just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on her. I've been following the case since day one. I just keep thinking back to my senior trip to Cancun and how easily it would of been for one of us to go missing. I feel so horrible for her family. As much as I hate to say it, I do not think she's still alive. I think she's been gone for a while. And that those boys in jail right now no what happen some more than others. I think that since they're so young one of them is bound to crack under pressure. I just hope the dad of that one guy(the judge in training) isn't trying to help and/or protect his son. If anyone isn't familar with Natalee's story here's a link for more information http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,160063,00.html Last edited by kp&nala; 06-20-2005 at 08:58 AM. |

| If nothing else (although I hope justice is servied) I hope they will atleast find her body, for the parents sake of knowing. And atleast having a place where they can go and "visit" her. |

| I have been following this too. I think it is terrible. I remember spring break trips and how easy it could have been to have something happen. But now a days it is even easier to have something happen. I agree, i hope that they at least find her body if she is in fact dead just so the parents can have that closure and know where thier daughters body is. |

| I too have been following this case....the one thing that keeps going through my mind is: Why didn't her friends stop her from leaving with 3 random men? I would have done whatever it took to stop my friend. Even if it meant knocking them out and calling police to take her back to the hotel. The whole thing is just so sad and so scary. I hope her parents get closure, it won't be easy, but at least they would know. I have heard so many theories: (these are just peoples opinions) 1. She was sold on the slave market. 2. There is some place on the island where the tide is just right that it can take anything out to sea, (I also heard this spot was near where the 2 boys said they dropped Natalie off with the one boy). So I really don't know where she is, but it is scary. I had a dream the other night that they found her alive in a cave. I wish my dreams could foretell the future. |

| I also heard that possibly a date rape drug was involved. It seems to me that that may be why she left with the boys. From what I've heard about her on TV it sounds like she's a really smart girl and wouldn't just leave with strange boys. But then again sometimes people use bad judgement when alcohol is involved. On our senior trip 2 of the guys that were with us made some bad moves and "ventured" out on their own and they were very drunk at the time. All of us (meaning girls) wouldn't go anywhere unless there was atlest 3 or 4 us unless there was a guy with us. Luckily we were all really good friends and the guys cared about our safety and rarely let us out of their sight. |

| This case makes me so sick. I went to cancun my senior year of high school too. Granted, I never went anywhere alone - it still could have happened to me. It is so sad. I feel so bad for her poor family. I know that most of us kids begged our parents to let us go. I'm sure her poor mother is feeling like it is her own fault for allowing her daughter to go. It's just so sad.

| I agree with Fran, I think that the police in Aruba are covering up for the judge's son. I've also heard the same story about there being a spot on the island where the tide is right. I hope that justice is served, and I hope that if Natalee is no longer alive, that they find her body so that her family can bury her and have some closure. When my friends and I travel, we never venture off on our own (especially in a foreign country) and if I were Natalee's friends, the guilt of letting her go off alone with those men would haunt me for the rest of my life. The whole story is just so sad.

| I'm not trying to make light of this in any way, but I was just wondering if everyone is aware that there is virtually NO CRIME in Aruba. The crimes committed each year are usually committed by visitors.

| I haven't watched the news in a few days. Can you guys bring me up to speed? First I heard that someone had confessed and was going to lead them to the body, then I heard that he recanted... What is going on now? I hadnt heard anything about a judge's son?

| My dad was telling me yesterday that he heard someone says they saw her get on a boat. He said he bets she was sold into slavery. I told Dad that kinda thing doesn't really happen. He said it does and blonde is a high comdity. That would also be horrible and if they never find her body it could be true.

| I heard earlier today that her family has now hired their own investigative team that will be going over to do their own search. I hope they find her because I can't imagine a worse nightmare for a family to go through. As far as the slavery rumor who knows? The last guy they arrested ran that tour boat and they still are holding him so there has to be something in that fact. I personally don't think she is alive...I hope I am wrong but I think with all the heat coming down on Aruba that if she were she would have surfaced by now. For the life of me the one thing I can't come to terms with is how her friends let her leave all by herself with 3 guys?

| They are also going to file a lawsuit or something (don't know the correct terms) so that the judge has to show the family (Holloway) the evidence and case file. They want to see the police report filed the day she went missing. You read the story on it at www.foxnews.com it should be one of the headlines. |
