The Dr said he that thinks that he can help him. He says he has an 85% success rate on this procedure. He uses wires, balloons and stints, what ever is necessary to clear the blockage.

I reccommend to anyone, if you don't like what your Dr has to say, don't be afraid to seek out another Dr. There are so many new procedures that the general Dr. isn't able to keep up with all of the advances. My husband's regular Dr. openly admitted that he didn't know they could do such a procedure, so he has learned from this also.

I also reccommend going to a teaching hospital if possible, they tend to be willing to try new things.

I am soooo happy to hear this. We'll keep praying in the meantime and anxiously awaiting the results next Friday. Hugs to you!!

I agree Jeanie, a teaching hospital is usually the best choice for something serious and I am so glad you both went beyond the GP's advise.
