I totally agree with all of you on this one. I am working on getting out on my own. I have to finish up our lease and then I Mike and I are going to be spliting up. I want to take about a year just to myself to figure out what I want and need. Thank you for all your input. I am taking everything into consideration.

Thank you, but I do understand that this does happen everyday and that I was stupid on my end to not have protected myself. Thanks for standing up for me Anna Banana.

Anna, the point I was making was to not let something she obviously has no control over bring her down. Learn from it ( not make the same mistakes in the future). Move on to things that are going to make her happy. Hope that clarifies it. I didn't mean to come off as insensitive, just realistic.

Thats a lot. I am sorry that you are having to go through that. I would just leave the two of them alone, even if he calls you, just ignore it. Its going to be hard, but thats what I would do.

Firstly welcome to the forum.

I would like to see you stay away completely from Don and Mike but Mike even more so. You already know he is not right for you so let's not have two broken hearts here.

I agree the sooner you move on from this situation the better it will be for you.

Don is a thing of the past. His girl friend is the one that I worry about. She is mean and gets jelous of everything really easy. I am worried that some how she is going to come after me. I am just staying away from both of them and letting them make there own disisions. I am just trying to get enough strength to not answer when he calls. Just thinking about it I have goose bumps because I know that I still love him. Even after all of this hurt he has caused me I still love him. I am ashamed of it but I still do. I need to find the key that will let me be free again.

I was never one to go looking for love..let it come to you and beg for your attention...
Can you share a place with a girlfriend or afford one on your own? You believe in God, so ask His advise in everything you do..every decision. Be a strong, independent woman, capable of providing what you need and only looking to a man to compliement your life...not be your life...I am not saying you were not doing that, just all around advise.

Thank you so much. I totally understand what you are saying. I am working on being able to afford my own place. With school and working it is really hard to make ends meet. This is my goal and in December I am hoping to have it.

Yes, I am still with Mike. I have to finish out our lease and then we are going to go our separate ways. We will be friends, but not together anymore.

No, with this one we are doing it to get through school. About being friends afterwards....I have been friends with all my ex boyfriends and even my ex husband. Don is the only one that I have not been able too. Ex's turn out to be the greatest friends once you get past the hard awkward time.
