I really do think you do...did anyone else see these "orbs" you saw? I do believe that some souls just don't want to leave and need a little help going to the right direction. Try talking to them (when your alone of course or someone WILL call the guys in the white coats!!) and telling them their time on earth is finished and go to the light! NOW!! Oh! and you are more than welcome to come and visit me...but, leave your friends home!! LOL

you should call ghost hunters!! or a haunting!! its sounds like a epsiode i jsut watched..lol ghost hunters comes for free.

i scare myself so bad, i watch and read all this stuff then i cant sleep in my own bed without my husband next to me, i figure he can keep them busy while im running out the room if something was to happen. i havent had anything happen at my house here but my parents house, whoa! thats a totally different story. lately i have noticed my son who is almost 3 say good night to other people in the house i dont see, freaks me out a little bit, i usualyl start running up the stairs and jump into bed with him. im so bad that i wont stand next to my bed at night for fear that the boogey man will grap me from under the bed..lol im laughing about it but i really do it.

my parents house used to be awful! mainly my bed room i think its because i played with a quija board once and only once because it scared the #$%%# out of me, i threw it in the trash and couldnt make my mom understand why i was throwing away a brand new game she bought. before there was carpet upstairs you could here people walking across, oh the house was built in the 60s mom swears it was built on a indian grave site or something. if you are upstairs you would hear and feel the big door downstairs slam shut, but when you checked it it was still locked. she has a alarm system now, she feels safe..lol then my room i was watching "wings" on usa one night around 11:30 and my bedroom door open and i saw a mans shadow, shadow people thing i guess, and thinking it was dad i waved and the door slammed shut, i opened the door and no one was there, mom and dad were snoring...hall way was COLD

then one day my mom heard all this nosie upstairs and thought my sister and her friend were up there, and she thought they had gone in my room to get into stuff, she she started yelling at the closed door from the bottom of the steps, and just then something was thrown against the door and shattered and all the glass came out from under the door. my moma raced upstairs to beat some booty but when she opened the door no one was there. to this day i dont know what broke but occassionaly you will fine pieces of smoked glass with gold trim.

one night i slept over at a friends house and the door was shut again and my mom heard all this rattling so she went into the hall and some thing was trying to get out of my room. she said it was banging and the knob was twisitng. needless to say no one would spend the night in my room. i had a friend freak out because her shoes were moved from the floor to the dresser and were tied together one night.

sometimes you would here people going through the cabinets in the kitchen but nothing was distrubed when you checked it out. my dad woke up one night and a little boy in a green shirt was beside his bed playing with a ball.

since all the kids have moved out nothing really happens and the carpet must pad the footsteps upstairs. moma calls the ghost george and when she started addressing the ghost when things happend it stopped and then if someting weird does happend she tells "george" to cut it out, and he does. maybe the motion senser on the alarm freaks george out

good luck, seriously call taps the ghost hunter people to come out i want to watch an epsiode with yorkies in it.

Ok now.... I do think you have some sort of hyper sensitivity. Especially being as the feeling has followed you. Your sensitivity is probably becoming more pronounced now because you are being more open to it....so you are seeing way more. It's fascinating and a bit scary at once. Thank god that you don't have a bad spirit hanging around or it would be uglier.

Hmmmmm....sounds like you have some sensitivities bc it's rare to see orbs w/ the raw eye, so that's pretty interesting. Often orbs are considered the 'shadow' of the ghost, or rather, the only part that they eye (or a camera) is actually able to see.

Have you tried doing a sage clearing at all? That may help. Perhaps google how to do a proper sage cleansing of your house.

Very interesting stuff...that "heaviness" sounds very real.

Ghost Hunters had come to a big old victorian (that's supposed to be haunted) in the town where I live. My neice knows the girls that lives there, They had to pay them to come...and didn't find anything. Although I spoke to the woman who lived there and she did say she has seen a elderly lady and "felt" things. Oh! by the way....It's for sale...Anyone interested!!!! BAWAHHHHHH!!!

About the orbs, the majority of the ones I have seen were fleeting. No biggy, just a little ball of light about the size of my fist I guess, that disappears rather quickly. I mean literally, its maybe a split second that I see it, then its gone.

The one in Maine, the bright one, that one was VERY different. For one, it was bigger. Maybe the size of my entire opened hand. It was much much much brighter, I am not kidding when I say it was such a bright white light that it had a bluish tinge to it. It was also brighter in the center with a kind of, I don't know how to explain it. It was like a dense center, with a circle around it. Kind of like a bullseye but with only the center and then one outer ring. I sat there staring at it, it moved around and kind of "danced". The others I can easily see being just a flash of light from someplace or something, maybe a trick of my eye. This one was very real and very there. It wasn't scary at all. It was kind of, "I see you and you see me, look what I can do". Then it just went away. I don't even remember HOW it went away. It was like it was there, then it wasn't. I don't recall seeing it disappear or anything. It just wasn't there anymore. Since seeing that one, I have seen other orbs that while not as bright as that one, they are brighter than the ones I saw before then. Although I still see the smaller, dimmer ones as well.

The house in Maine I KNOW without a doubt was haunted. I wasn't the only one to see and hear things there. There are lots of stories about that old house. It belonged to my ex-in laws. I'm not sure how many of the stories were true, and how many were told in an attempt to scare me.

I feel weird now. I didn't know it was "rare" to see them. Like I said, I've seen them my whole life. I don't remember NOT seeing them, so I've always thought that was kind of normal. I always thought it was just light or something hitting my eye at a certain angle causing it.

I love Sylvia too and have alot of her books. She says that all orbs are angels. In the house we lived in before this one, I had gotten up one night to get my son to feed him and always went to the living room to the rocker. That night when I got right beside the T.V. it all of a sudden came on and the volume was loud and it was just a snowy picture. I turned to gripe at my husband for following me and turning it on, but he was in bed. I turned it off and went to my room with my son, and never went to the living room again. One other night after that, I got up to get him and the T.V. was on again on the same snowy picture because I saw it from the hallway and I got him and went to my room and made my hubby get up and go turn it off. My hubby also worked nights sometimes and Ciera would be laying on the bed and just all of a sudden stand up and her hair would all stand up and she would bark at nothing while just staring into the hallway.

I also had a picture that was home interior of a little girl in a dress that had peach and white stripes in the matting and then a peach bow on it (someone may know of the picture) anyway, when my son was just learning how to stand and walk, he would stand up on the couch and just stare at this picture for some reason, like it had something in it. It always had this wierd look to the little girls eyes and my husband absolutely hated that picture and would say it looked posessed. It freaked me out everytime my son would just stop and stare at it. When we moved in this house, my husband made me throw it away and wouldn't let me put it back up. One last thing is that when we were in the rocker in the living room, my son would look up and point and say the word angel and he would only do that in that spot and when we were in that chair. I never did figure that one out, but he has never done anything like that where we are now. I was really glad to get out of that house.

I can tell you a creepy story about my moms old house. It was built in 1950 and her hubby owned it for 20 years. Well when my mom married him she moved in with him and so did I for a year. the house had a 1/2 finished basement and that is where I stayed. I had feelings of being watched. I had dreams of an older woman in a hat. (they were scarce) but I never ever felt 'afriad' just creeped out a bit.

Anyways I chalked it up to my wild imagination and NEVER told ANYONE!

YEARS later when my mom was packing the house to move, she was talking about her 'ghost' ... and I was like 'huh? what ghost? you never mentioned this!' she said 'yeah I have a ghost!' an older woman, she wears a hat. I never have seen her but I can FEEL her and I just know its an old woman in a hat.

(giving myself goosebumps here!!!)

oh yeah, the only thing seperating the house from the graveyard behind it was a chain link fence!!!

OMG, I clicked on the link and read the first page and got chills! I've seen one of these several times at my mother's house. I did some research a few years ago and found out that they were called shadow people but I never found a web site that described my experience so exact.

I was 13 when I first saw him and I've seen him a couple of times since. My sister saw him too the same year I did but she refuses to talk about it. What I saw was dark like a shadow but was more defined and it was three dimensional. I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth and suddenly he was just there in the doorway looking at me. It was definitely a tall man but that was all I could tell. And it had a bad feeling to it. I have never been that scared in my life. I wanted to scream but I felt like the air was being sucked out of me and I couldn't even move. I had a much worse experience with him last year and now I refuse to spend the night at my mother's house. She's never seen him or felt him. I think he was drawn to me and my sister for some reason.

Since I've said this much, I might as well tell ya'll the rest of my issues with this house. It's "The Noise". It is BEYOND irritating. Along with that ever constant heavy cluttery feeling comes this noise. It sounds like a radio playing way off in the distance that isn't quite "tuned in" to the station. I have to keep the television on, music on, something, ANYTHING to cover up that noise. I sleep with my iPod on because it seems like its louder at night (I think because the house is quieter it just SEEMS louder).

So there ya'll have it. I see, feel, and hear weird things.

I'm gonna go put on something nice now so I'll at least look pretty when the men with the white coats get here.

OK that's just scary. I don't WANT to be "between worlds". I have enough trouble coping with THIS world, I don't need another one to deal with! I have enough trouble with LIVING people, I can't deal with dead ones too.

I think I'd just rather be crazy. lol
