Count me out! I'm a summer gal through and through. I often said that I was born to be a southern girl but that old stork got caught in a wind gust and blew me north to Ohio. To me fall means winter is just around the corner.........yuck!!!!!!

ME TOO!!! Yesterday it was 114 here....I"m SO SICK of the hot weather I could cry. The sad thing is, even when it IS Fall here, if you put a pumpkin on your porch, it would be rotten at the end of the day . I really miss all the Fall stuff and decorating. It just looks so inappropriate here for some reason. Kind of like Christmas in Hawaii, I guess.

That's the ONLY thing I miss about TN. was the Cracker Barrel. We just LOVED eating breakfast every Sunday there. The winter was the best because they had two HUGE fireplaces and it's so rustic. I wish we had them close to us, but it still wouldn't be the same because we don't get much cold weather, and no snow at all except in the mountians. The food hopefully would be the same!!

I think I need to move somewhere that is warmer year round. I like the fall A LOT.. I love cool sundays with football on tv and a chicken in the oven and apple pies that were just baked. I REALLY do! BUT I just ADORE summer and find it way too short. Since last friday its been like fall here, 60s and windy, it STINKS! I feel like we've been jipped! At this rate we are going to have snow by like Oct 1.

hey yorkiedaze! Ive been to Lompoc CA! HAHA my brother in the military was stationed there for 6 years! I saw all the Ostrich farms b/t there & LA and although there was not much in Lompoc the beaches on the base were GORGEOUS! HUGE starfish EVERYWHERE! Its very pretty out there!
