| did anyone see the movie ..... "Eight Below"? I watched it the other night and cried my eyes out ... first for sadness and then for happiness ... I used to have a Siberian Husky but I think the connection was just the "dog" connection that brought me to tears. I do not think I could have watched that in a theatre without making a fool out of myself .... and I doubt I would have been alone ... I recommend it just for the realistic story ... even though it was sad, it was a good movie ... How in the world did they train those Huskies to act, and they really did "act" ... http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0397313/

| We just love that movie. I think they used 16 different dogs for the movie. It's incredible. There were extra features on the dvd that told about the dogs.

| Oh I bought the DVD when it came out. Nope didn't see it yet, my daughter told me it's gonna make me cry. I guess I'm waiting to want to cry, cause it's still in the box. ( I really don't do sad movies)

| just a great story ... Quote:
don't know how many dogs they used for this movie but they were pretty much the same dogs that were in "Snow Dogs" (there are just so many 'acting' Huskies available I suppose) --- However, I did read that there were "sledding" doubles for each Husky ... great movie, if I could I would buy a copy and send it to all of you .... That is how strongly I recommend this film. DJ (Max) and Koda (Mya) were both in "Snow Dogs" ...
