| I went there like 6 years ago... along the strip there are a couple Ripleys museums and aquariums, they were cool. Then there is a shopping/eating plaza outdoors about a mile from the strip that has a movie theatre, mini golf, hard rock cafe, all kinds of stores, bars, clubs (dueling pianos is awesome) and stuff like that. Also (now i went with my brother so hear this... ) there are 3 (YES 3!!!) HOOTERS on ONE road down there!!! All within 5 miles of each other!!! My damn bro made me stop at EACH ONE OF THEM! LMAO!!! [] HAVE A BLAST THOUGH!!!!

| I used to travel to Mrytle Beach every year for family vacation, we always stayed in North Mrytle Beach at Ocean's Creek. Things to do...we always would go and shop/eat at Broadway at the Beach and also we would go to Merle's Inlet. Drunken' Jacks is a really good restuarant. Also maybe a short trip to Charleston, we always did this one day...when my Dad was in the Navy he was stationed there so he likes to reminisce. Oh and California Dreamin' and the Charleston Grill are excellent restuarants in Charleston.

| My son lives in Myrtle Beach and we were just there for the week of July 4 with the furkids!!! Broadway on the Beach is great for shopping as is Barefoot Landing. Check out the Pauley's Island area - very nice. There is tons of shopping, at least two outlet malls and lots of eating to be done!!!!! There are a couple really cool doggie boutiques as well!! Have a great time.

| There is also a really nice mall, theres a water park but it might already be shut down. Tons and Tons of places to eat. Dixie Stampede. I wouldn't reccommend eating at Key West Grill, its really expensive, and to me it wasn't that nice. |

| I have been going to Myrtle Beach for 30 years....its has really changed over the years. TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC!!!! We have had some wonderful vacations there but we decided several years ago that we had had enough of the hectic traffic so we started going to Hilton Head Island (now the traffic is really getting bad there too) But you have picked a good time to go to Myrtle Beach....most schools will have started back which should really help cut back on traffic. I agree with the other gals....Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing....lots of great shopping. Of course all the outlet shopping is up Hwy 501. Have a great vacation!!!!

| have only eat at Nascar Cafe 1x it was a neat place but took forever to get in but you were busy while you were waiting. It's so long I really don't remember how i liked it I guess it wasn't that good as we havn't gone back since. Landry's is seafood and it is awsome OMG best desserts ever Joes Crabshack is great it's my kids favorites Froggie Bottoms is good too but that may not agree with you either Hard rock is a great we go everytime! Love to look around I like Key West Grill we got there late and it took most of our night but I did like it great scenery too Planet Hollywood is really expensive and not that great! margaritaville was ok not the best service but nice scenery
