| This is my second reply - got timed out I think and it didn't come up, and I lost it all ! Here goes again if I can remember it all, hee hee..... Thanks so much all of you.....that really cheered me up about being a horrible age, and horrible things coming ! I was laughing about the 39 comments...yes, you are right, I am 39 and 365 days, hee hee....now 39 and 366 days my time, lol 3 friends phoned me singing "happy birthday to you" which was a laugh ! It was nice to be cheered up as I had a really bad day about three days ago....just all the worrying about the surgery on the 5th and all I have gone through before, and what might happen this time, got to me, and I was hysterical, stupidly....but Kenny and my Mum talked me ok, and I am fine now, silly me !!! (They can never stop the bleeding every surgery I have, and this one will deffo be a bleed-er !) Doesn't help that I am pretty sore just now, as problem has worstened in last few days...still only about 2 weeks to go now. I got some fab info from my moderator friend on my EDS forum...she contacted the top EDS specialist in the country, and told him about everything for me, and he forwarded a reply saying as I am "a high risk case" and with my "worrying history" he wants my surgeon to contact the top EDS surgeon for my surgery in Kings hospital in London (giving him her name)and "not meaning to step on any toes or suggest he is not capable," but he could discuss options in my case ! So I forwarded that letter to my surgeon - lets hope he takes all the advice he has been offered if he feels he needs some ideas of what to expect ! I also told my surgeon that I trust him and know I am in good hands ! So that was good, wasn't it ! Apart from that my previous reply on here which didn't stay on screen, said that Kenny gave me a lovely emerald and gold ring for my 40th, and I have been looking at it all day !!! He has been on holiday, so I will hopefully get the computer back soon ! Also, he was nice to me and didn't plaster Scotland with DEBRA 40 and my pic all over the place, thank heavens, and I also asked... Is that a craze over in the US too ???? It is huge here - poor souls having posters and sheets plastered on rounabouts, walls, junctions, like Kenny did on my 30th ! I don't think he did it this time though ! (Exactly 6 months to the day ago from the 18th Aug, Kenny was 40....18th Feb, and I got him back for my 30th by plastering all the walls of his work - (Prison Officer) with huge KENNY 40 TODAY, and loads of pics of him as a wee boy and his wedding pic, and as he is now, hee hee. It took him all shift to remove them all - they were all over the reception, the corridors, toilets, etc and staff were all laughing at him and saying he was cute !!!!) I was dreading the same being done, or it being put in the local papers ! I think I am safe ! Will speak soon....STILL sore and Kenny is tarantula-ing on his forum....so will be on when he goes back to work ! Thanks so much....you all made my day ! Love Debra x x x x New pic of my babies....Tammy Casper and Tara |
