| I miss being a SAHM I love my job, but I miss being a full time SAHM. I want to be more involved with my kids during school. Im sorry just feeling really upset about this.

| It's been a long time since my two were little and in elementary school. But if it helps you to know, I felt very guilty also. How long have you been at your job? Just wondering, cause that guilt feeling does get easier. But I don't think it ever goes away.

| Don't feel bad, I wanted something part time to just get a break and I applied for a job, got an interview, got hired and turned it down all because the day I went for the interview I missed my son so bad. He is only 7 months and I would miss out on so much. He changes every day. It's like I want out of the house for a few hours but I don't want to commit to anything. I'm confused. LOL

| Nope, it didn't go away for me. My daughter just graduated college and got married and I still feel guilty for having to go to work fulltime when she went into first grade. I so wanted to stay home through at least middle school. But you'll find ways to make it feel better. You can volunteer to do things at home to help the teachers, go in after work to decorate, make treats or pay for them, I put together so many packets and helped at so many after school activities, I felt like I was the class mom sometimes. But it was worth it. I knew what was going on and my daughter didn't have to put up with my face popping in everyday checking on her. LOL Local field trips were something I could do too. I just took vacation time for them when I could. Believe me. It will get better and you'll be OK, even if the guilt sticks around some. |

| I understand how you feel. I missed a lot of time working, but I got sick and am on disability, so I'm with the kids. I love being with them, but I sure do miss them and get bored when their at school.
