| ![]() For YEARS I actually thought *I* was the crazy one in my family. I have spent a small fortune on therapy only to discover that I am the normal one! My in-laws are just....weird. But, I have to be honest and say that they are relatively close family and are supportive of each other - as long as you are of "blood relation". Myself and my two oldest children do not fall into that category. My name, for the past 7 years, has been Mike's Wife. My two oldest are simply "Mike's Wife's kids". MY family on the other hand, is very nice and sweet and appears down right perfect on the outside. In reality, there is more drama and skeletons in the closet than ya'll would ever believe. They smile to your face and stab your back and they don't care if you are of "blood relation" or not. Everyone is fair game.

| ![]() This is sad for me to say, but my mom never had anything nice to say to me. I learned I had to do things that made me happy, and not look for outsider's to do it for me. I for one am proud you're going back to school. Go sign up, and don't look back. You'll be glad you did it.

YT 500 Club Member | ![]() My boyfriends family are not my in laws yet.. and quite honestly my whole hesitation in taking the next step of moving in together. My parents always welcome everyone with open arms. SO nice, make him feel welcome in our home. My dad even gave him a garage opener so he can come check on Armani. Nicks parents on the other hand are not mean to me but also are kind of stand offish to me. I dunno how to explain it but after 2 years I still weird around them. They are all about his older brother and his fiance (which I understand wedding wedding wedding its a huge deal) but at the same time they should realize that someday I will possibily be the mother of their grandkids!!!

| ![]() You could always put it like " Going back to school is cosmetic surgery for the mind and soul" ????? I think it is awesome that you are able to go back to school. Please don't let anyone talk you out of it....You will never regret it |

| ![]() My in-laws are nutty too. I'm just glad hubby turned out normal. God knew the world couldn't handle one more of them.

But ever since my husband has closed them off he's been so happy. Sometimes you have to do what's best for your family. | |
