We live in Charlotte, NC....we found a little piece of land with an older home and we snatched it up. We do a lot of front porch rockin'. Believe it or not our backyard is even better. We love it here!!!

How pretty, I just love North Carolina. We have always owned but I am in a retirement home now and as much as I feel it is right for me now, there is nothing like your own home.

Joan, at least in a retirement home you do not have all the responsibilities that comes with owning your own home. I imagine your retirement home to be just lovely!!!

I've been to Chapel Hill and fell in love with it there but the mountains are great too. Yes there are many good things about my place and letting them worry about the plumbing, painting, replacing carpet etc etc. is wonderful.

Well let's see what's outside more front doors.

and njoydaride I could adjust very easy to your view. I know this is Los Angeles but I was brought up in Chicago and that looks like the outer drive along the lake in Chicago and some times I get so homesick. Down deep I think I am a city girl.
