Tortured by a song?

I tortured my poor boys. lol I used to sing to my oldest when he was a baby and he would put his little baby hand on my mouth and say, "Nuff Mama, nuff!"

Then, I would sing to my youngest when he started to school to get him OUT of bed. The song that worked was from the musical Oklahoma! "Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day. I've got a beautiful feeeelinng, everything's going my way." The only way I would stop is if I saw him either stand up or throw something at me! lol

Then, hubby started complaining. lmao, so I switched to putting frozen marbles in my son's bed to get him up.

So, every now and then I keep hearing that song from Oklahoma! in my head.

and i was actually trying to find "beautiful morning" for my ring tone...

2. i am absolutely going to try the frozen marbles thing. Raven doesn't ever get out of bed for me...(did you make your son pick them up?)

Well...no...I had to get out of throwing range...FAST!! The frozen marbles follow you where ever you roll on the bed. Nothing like a cold marble on your warm skin to wake you up! I only did it if it was the second or third time I'd asked him to get up. It was my artillery.

That's funny because just the other day, my daughter and I were shopping and I felt the urge to sing "Puff the Magic Dragon"...she was like, what the heck are you singing??!!! Where that came from, I have no clue!!!!
