I have to hand it to her that she really took a lot of abuse from Dick, and managed to not cry for a long time. The episode with the cigarette, really showed how she just couldnt' handle it anymore.
I think the reason she broke all the rules and acted the way she did at the end was that I think she really really wanted Dick and Danielle to be her friend. And for a short while, I think she thought they were. That is why when Dani put her up this time, it really hurt her.
I know she seems like a total bitch, but I remember there is a real person in there, and I think she just has some serious self-esteem issues. I was actually impressed by Amber's goodbye words to her, and that she really hit the nail on the head.
just my $.02 on Jen. |
I felt the same way. I hated her at first as well, but she grew on me. I wouldn't say I'd hang out with her, but I felt sorry for her. She put up with more abuse than anyone in the history of the show. First, it was from Dick and then a pack mentality kicked in and everybody thought it was OK to be openly rude to her. Note Eric's comments as she was walking out the door. She may be a b----, but I don't think anyone deserves to be treated like that.
And I still hate E.D.! Anybody notice how he only picks on women and the tiniest man (Eric)?
