As for the bumps sounds like ingrown hair. Very painful and sore.

I have to tell you about this product that we just found out about. We just got back from vacationing in Jamaica July 5. We're on a message board for Couples Resorts, which is where we stayed, and everyone was talking about how to get everything nice and clean without pain, bumps, itching, etc. I also like to have all of it done. The product is called "Magic Skin Conditioning Shaving Powder with Aloe & Vitamin E". It's formulated for black men to help stop razor bumps.(that's what it says on the container) This stuff is awesome!! I'm allergic to the wax so I tried this. I did all of it and didn't have any burning, redness, itching, bumps or anything! Nice and smooth. We were in Jamaica for 8 days and I never had to use it while I was there because it did such a good job.

Just wanted to pass this on.

can you get it at everyone's favorite store, Wal-mart? i don't really get alot of razor burn (waxing bumps) but i do have a friend who says it makes her sweaty if she even shaves it all.

I GET waxed too, no way i would do it myself lol, i wouldn't be able to stand the pain. I pay like $78, but it's so fast, and they take off everything! lol idk what type of wax they use but it's green and it's great! It dries up on your skin right away so that you just pull it off, you don't have to use any strips to take it off, you just pull the wax right off

yeah. i should go and get it all done. it seems like when someone else does it i'm to proud to say, "nO!!" but i think i just don't have the flexibility i did as a teen and can't pull it off fast enough!!

Ok i just now booked my appt. for tomorrow!! I'm scared lol, i'm always nervous right before i go in cause it hurts everytime but after it's over the pain is gone. i'm going to DR and have to get it done! i know how nervewrecking it is tho, so for those of you who are scared to go get waxed just try it at least once, it will be over before you know it. I remember i had 2 free passes for me and a friend to get brazilian waxes and my friend chickened out!! LOL I couldn't believe it, i could have taken someone else!:rolleyes:

I agree, everyone needs to try it at least once. It's not as bad as it's made out to be...really, I promise!

I had to quit going because I can't afford it anymore. It's about $60 around here tip included and that's just for the bikini line & part of the pubic area (landing strip is left).

About the Brazilian, how bad was that? I mean...uhm...when they go near the err rear entry!? LOL I've always been to chicken to go & get the Brazilian because of that.

Yea the place i go to is pricey too, i just checked and they said it's $65 for a brazilian and $75 for a completely bare wax, which they leave no hair at all. The brazilian they leave a strip. I don't get waxed all the time cause of the money, but since im going away next week and will be in a bikini the whole time i figured why not. The rear entry? LOL That doesn't hurt AT ALL!! :)

I used to get most of it taken off, but have them leave a strip...but I didn't let them go near my butt lol. EVERYTHING on my "area" lol was taken off except the strip on the pubic mound, but nothing past the vagina lol. That was crossing my comfort zone.

Maybe I'll give the actual brazilian a try :rolleyes: I'm leaving for NC on the 14th & we'll be going to 2 water parks so I think I'll go for it. :thumbup:

This is most likely WAY to much info but here it goes :) Its probably razor burn. I prefer to be hair free....."everywhere" so surprisingly my hubby (yes I said my hubby!!!) told me the trick about shaving in the direction the hair grows and no more bumps!!!!! You don't get the baby skin soft feel but it looks smooth!

I have very sensitive skin and this trick works great for those unmentionable places ;)
