| What a horrible weekend :( This weekend my 87 year-old Grandma came to town for my Great Uncle Bob's funeral, her only connection left to her twin sister who died 6 years ago, and the celebration of her Great-granddaughters first birthday. Well at the birthday party my Grandma tripped on a deck stair and broke her hip, she is having hip replacement surgery today at 2 p.m. and will be in the hospital for 4-5 days then moved to a rehab center for 2-3 weeks. She is so scared, she's never had surgery Please pray for my Grandma, I'm very upset and couldn't get off work to go to the hospital She's four hours away from her home and my Grandpa couldn't make it in the car that long to visit her. I hope she will be able to overcome this hurdle, she has been self-sufficient up to this point and it would devastate her to not be able to return home.
