| I do at least one on-line course a semester. This fall, I'm taking two on-line courses. It all depends on the subject matter. Some things, you just have to be there for the lecture, etc. I do love those classes though. I can sit in my jammies and do them! |

| Be sure to do lots of research about the schools you become interested in. Online schools sometimes are scams (or say you want to eventually take classes at an actual college campus and your new college won't take your online college's credits). Just be sure to do your research. |

| I earned my AA at Coastline Community College in California. Now I am in the IST (information technology) program at Southern Illinois University. I graduate with a 4 year degree next year and I have NEVER stepped foot into a classroom. Online school has helped me so much because I was in the military and I have kids. My school did a little news article when I drove 4 hours away to visit my college for the first time for my honors award. http://news.siu.edu/news/May07/050907cjm07024.jsp I love online school, it gives others the chance to go to college that might not have been able to. I agree to look into the school first. Beware of the University of Pheonix because they tend to overcharge. I really hope that anyone with kids, a job, or older people give online college a try too. |

| California College for Health Sciences. Just make sure your school is accredited by the Distance Learning Council.
