| Anyone an OBGYN, I have a question about beta test? I had beta blood test on Wednesday and my count was 257. I take a second one tomorrow. How far along do you think I would be with count of 257. The problem is I had normal period that started on July 16. I have heard that some people can be pregnant and have their periods. My period in June started on the 17th. Neverless, my test shows positive.

| I'm not an OB/GYN but I'm a medical assistant that used to work for one. If I remember correctly there is a very wide range with the early numbers. I think it's like single digits into the thousands for the first few weeks that results in a positive. Was your first Beta HCG today? I'm not sure how much to expect it to go up in a day or two. Keep thinking positive. (that's a joke, get it? positive pregnancy test!) I kill me!! Keep us updated. Prayers for a strong, high number!!!

| The nurse said the HCG number should double within the two days of taking the beta tests. I will find out tomorrow. It will be a long day waiting for the results. I will go in the afternoon and it takes them like 4 hours to get the results back.
