It was from Happiness the tears were. That is why she scared me I thought something was wrong but she was just over joyed. He is eating great over 4 ounces every 4 hours.

He is absolutely precious. I'm so glad he got through his surgery, and pray he will continue to grow, and grow.

Such a sad story with such a happy, hopeful ending! Im so glad Mikey is doing so well! What a strong little boy!

Mikey is truly a special baby. I am so happy for all of you now that he
is home. He's beautiful. Your family has been through hell and back

I called Becca this morning and she had told me that Mikey had, had two 10 minute seizures. This is not a good thing. She called his doctor and they had to up his seizure meds. he is growing so fast he is growing out of the doses he is given. This afternoon he was doing fine no seizures. so hope the meds work for him.
I am off to do Babybear's water therapy. Will try and update a night update tonight if I have a chance to talk to becca again tonight.

Sorry everyone,
I have been so busy since Mikey has been home. I watched him last weekend and I was not able to get close to the computer. I had him on Saturday so mom and dad could have a well deserved day away. They went to a water park. Everyone couldn't believe that they would leave him after all he has been through, but Becca knows how I am and what I have gone through with her brother so she trusts me with him with no problem. He was so easy to take care of. He eats like a horse. He is now up to 10 pounds. He is already eating baby food. The doctor thinks this is great. He said most babies can not eat at this age 2months because they do not know how to chew with their tongues. Well Mikey does. He starts physical therapy in September. They will work with him rolling over and such. Other than that health wise he is super. Could not ask for a better baby. He came over tonight I just couldn't take my eyes off him he changes so much. I have pictures of last weekend I have to load into my computer. I haven't had time to load them because I am now working on my house re-arranging rooms around. I have my last kid moving out and his room is going to be my new sewing room and computer room. Then we start our new living room. I can't wait. I will try to get them up and posted in the next day or so. Thank you all for keeping up with Mikey he is such a joy. Oh and I told Becca all I will charge her for babysitting is 20 kisses from Mikey an hour she told me I was to cheap that he gives at least 100 kisses an hour.lol
Gotta run more moving to do.

Thanks for the great update. They certainly did deserve a day away and who better to watch Mikey!!!! I am so happy for you all.

It sounds like hes doing great, and who better to watch him then Grandma.
He sure is a cutie and getting so big. I would be careful giving him baby foods being so young. even thou you think he can chew, Starting solids too early can cause your baby to develop food allergies. A baby's intestinal tract is not as fully developed during the first few months and introducing solids at this time can be too much to handle, food allergies, which can present with diarrhea, vomiting, coughing, hives or a rash. But I know how hard it is not to give them foods, I was the same way with my babys, but learned fast because they had asthma.Breast milk or infant formula supplies all of your baby's nutritional needs for at least the first 4 to 6 months of life.

I am SO HAPPY little Mikey is home and doing so well! I could not imagine my two month old having seizures. It is hard enough watching them on my 4 year old (recent epilepsy). Your daughter handled this whole thing so well! I've know seasoned mothers crack over less! Seems she has inherited a strong woman gene!

I hope that the doctors are able to get his seizure under control soon. I know how frustrating that can be. They are consently upping my son's doseage, too! I am so excited for you all! Enjoy that little man (as I know you have been!)
