| I have one on my foot...I don't have a picture, but I designed it myself. It's a heart with two stars (heart for my fiance, 2 stars for my "kids" that I nannied for 5 years - like my own kids), then the heart is kind of "wearing" a crown for me because my name (Sara) means princess, I've always been known as the princess. It was before we got Chloe so there's nothing in there about her I didn't even hardly feel it. Didn't hurt at all. The only part that kind of tingled was RIGHT above the toes. I want SO many more, but because of my career I have a very limited selection when it comes to areas for my tattoos. I REALLY want one on my left wrist of Chloe's pawprint, but I can't get it on my wrist or I'll always have to wear long sleeves with my scrubs and I don't want to have to be stuck like that. Ugh!

| I have two tattoos. My first one is a floral pattern on my side. It's pretty big and I hope to have it eventually covered up or added to customize it since the design was picked off a website. I do love the colors though. My second one means a lot to me. It is a dove and it represents a new stage in my life in which I felt free and at peace. I plan on getting on getting more including Stanley's pawprint =). As for the pain, it really depends on your pain threshold. Women have a higher pain threshold than men so we actually handle it better than they do. To me, the feeling of getting a tattoo is so addicting and I enjoy it. Some people use a topical numbing spray when they get their tattoos, but I think the whole point is to endure the pain and love the results. It is very different from getting a piercing. It will hurt at first but eventually you will feel numb to it.

| I have a butterfly on my lower back. I wanted one for a while but my ex always told me I'm not the tatoo type and discouraged it. I finally got it during our divorce. didn't hurt too bad, of course I was under the influence.... I had gone in and looked around the guy told me to have a beer and come back. I don't think he expected me to come back. Well 2 rx ibuprofens and a few beers later..... About the time it started to hurt he would stop to wipe it off. I kinda took it like child birth, I focused on other things and then like I said when he started to hurt he stopped and wiped so it was all good. He also talked to me the whole time which is distracting and helped. I want to expand on it, like vines or something and then add flowers or ??? to represent my kids. I'd also like to get a paw print or something on m foot near my ankle maybe? Sorry the pic isn't very good. My kid wasn't really into doing this for me.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | I just want to say that I think all the tattoos you guys have posted are amazing! I'd never get one (too much of a chicken), but if I did I would get a little Shamrock on either my wrist or ankle (because I'm Irish) or a little yellow rose (in memory of my grandma). Good luck with your decision!

| I have a yorkie tattooed on my right breast. High enough up so that with a lower cut shirt it is visable. I get lots of complements on it. I plan to add a bone at the dogs feet with a red bow tied around it and the streamers going down my breast with my dogs names inside the ribbon. I tried to upload it but couldnt get it to work. Anyway I love it. And no it doesnt hurt it is kind of like getting scratched but they say the breast is one of the least painful spots. |

| I have 3 - butterfly on shoulder, my husbands name on my wrist (which I can cover with bracelet or watch if needed). We both got each others name the first week we were married. Just thought it would be cool. Thank God we're still married 24 yrs now or would've had to cover it LOL and I have a design on my ankle. I'm planning on getting more butterflies total of 3 representing my 3 daughters who I love very much. I'm thinking a butterfly trail would look cool.

| I just got my first one about a month and a half ago. I went in to get a scorpion. I got it on my upper thigh... I LOVE IT! I knew what I wanted... but remember its there for life... so make sure you don't get something you are not in love with! although I love my scorpion, I want another tat that is more original. I have an awesome black & white Yorkie drawing that I might do. My tat did not hurt at all... I was nervous to get one and put it off for a LONG time. I finally did it at 30 and was disappointed that it was NOTHING compared to what I anticipated! glad though too (noone WANTS to sit through something that HURTS, but they'll do it if they have to) haha Here is my tat and here is a pic of the one Im thinking about getting. I know showing you this you could get it if you like it.. thats ok.. it just a pic I found and thought would make a pretty cute tattoo. My artist said he could do a replication of my exact dogs... but I thought about that and do not want my dogs on me, cuz like I said, its for life, and when they pass (many many moons from now) I dont want their likeness on my body! I know I wouldnt want that. But I LOVE Yorkies and know I'll have them throughout my lifetime so I wanted a 'generic' yorkie pic! My friend got a tattoo in the middle of her back and said it didnt really hurt all that much either... Enjoy!!!

I think Kalina82 posted that she did that with her furbaby. Not positive it was her, but someone did LOL I think it was in Shana's post about her retouched butterfly. Check there. Whoever it was, said they used ink. I tried stamping Chloe's paw on paper for scrapbooking, though & she freaked. Maybe take a clear, close-up picture? Then they can copy it from there? lol I don't know!

I thought about doing it in white, so it shows, but if you're just getting a quick glance (say at work) you won't see it. I think Lindsay Lohan has a white-ink tattoo on her wrist. I'm very pale, thought so I don't know how that would work. TOO many options! LOL I'd LOVE to see a pic of yours, though! Pretty please
