Glad you hubby made it home safe and sound. :) I agree with Yorkiekids. I feel that when your times up, it's up no matter where you are or what your doing at the time. It's in God's hands. I will say a prayer for both of you to always have safe travels on the motorcycle. :hands:
P.S. I still have a fear of them :rolleyes: and I'm telling you all of the above. ;) But my hubby doesn't have one, so I don't have to think about it like you do.

So what's all this silliness about fear of motorcycles? No need to be afraid! :)

You're support for your hubby amazes me!! THAT IS what makes relationships work; sacrafice.

I have been riding for many years and I got my husband into riding. Since then he's gone thru 5 bikes and now has his own riding friends he takes off with without me!! I have a silly little sport bike and he's now crossed over to the dark side--- he bought a 2007 Street Glide and it's absolutely gorgeous.

Best of luck with bike and dreams do come true right?? :) You riders will always be in my prayers! Ride safe everybody!!

Yay! I am glad that he made it home safely. His new bike looks GREAT!!! What made him change his mind on the bike?

You will do fine......they are fun and you will enjoy it once you get past your first ride!

I'm glad your hubby made it home safely. I ride and I love it, but I do the driving. Here's a picture of my bike. Bowie rides too and he loves it, in the picture with him he's actually looking at my bike and waiting to get going.

I hope you love riding as much as I do, it take time getting used to the open feeling. Once you get used to that you should love it!!! I wish you the best in safe riding and enjoyment.

Wow!! Are you kidding me?? You take the baby on the bike?? That's awesome that he can do that! But at the same time, I'd be too scared to do that! I just luvvv the goggles!! He looks adorable!!:)

Maybe you guys could ride down here to So Cal?? huh? huh? Can ya!! Ride down for the next meet-up! ya!!!!!!

Now that's a sacrifice...My hubby of 27 years, also loves his Harley, but you will not see me on it ever. Period. The end.
On a serious note. Good luck, I pray you are able to overcome your fear and enjoy the moments you share with your hubby and his dream...

Yes I take him on rides all the time, but the rides he goes on are backroads only. I don't take him on the freeways or anywhere there is tons of traffic. He only gets to go when my roomate can come for the ride and hold him tightly secured in his special carrier. She also zips him up with only his head sticking out of her jacket. He has doggles, motorcycle vests, jackets and a hat as well. I took the Harley hat off for his picture.
He actually gets upset and whines when I start my bike if he can't go, then if I drive off without him he barks like crazy.
I would love to ride down there, but I don't take him on freeways.

You're braver than me. My husbad got his first Halrey in '77 and has had one ever since. He has a 2000 springer that he has changed around so much that he hardly ever rides it he is so busy working on it. I won't go near it. I am a big chicken. Enjoy.

The little white trailer directly behind the red mini van is my miniature horse trailer and the big silver and black object is our BIG horse trailer. It is a 36" aluminum 4 horse trailer with full living quarters and a mid tack room. If you're gonna travel, might as well do it in style.

Oh the spending never ends when you become a "biker girl". We just bought a beautiful black full face helment, and I'm looking for gloves and some boots. Spent $8.00 on ONE pair of Harley socks today. I have never ever spent that much on a pair of socks. LOL Lookout poorhouse here we come! :lol tears

I do need a good jacket, but the leather britches will have to wait until I have lost some weight.

TY!!! Bowie rides tucked into my roomates jacket in a special carrier that she wears to hold him in. He is strapped into the carrier and also tucked down in her jacket so he is secured well. He basically sits between us abit off to the side cause he wants to see where he is going all the time,lol.
