| i had a garage sale a few years ago, i have really good stuff too... i was selling things for soooooo cheap , unreal ...it made me feel good that these people were getting great bargains.. they were coming back in car loads. i was selling pocketbooks for 2.00 .. just to give them away. no clothes though. i give bags and bags away all year round... fairly new stuff too only to the people who dont have as much as i do.... the unfortunate ones.. and when i see them wearing it, it makes me feel good. im a giver in all ways. |

| And then there are those who come and knock at your door WAY BEFORE you are open for business and want to know if they can get a sneak preview!!! Sometimes they will show up BEFORE THE BIRDS ARE EVEN AWAKE!!!

| I'm a garage sale junkie! Started out collecting antiques/collectibles for my house then ended up selling on ebay and now have shop space in an antique shop too. Have made as much as $1,600 at one of my garage sales and a couple weeks ago I purchase 5 pieces of pottery at a sale for $65, sold one of the pieces on ebay for over $1,800.00, I love it!

| It's so much fun. I really enjoy it but believe me I've bought lots of other peoples junk too only to get home and realize that that is what it is, junk! Half the fun to me is researching something I've found to get it's history and value. My sister is selling online now too and she has gone into business with a friend and opened a shop in Tennessee, I'm so jealous, wish I didn't have to work my real job and could just do auctions and sales all the time.

| I am a Yard Sale-Garage Sale-Thrift Shop junky. Love them,but I dont have a yard sale I think selling something three times is just to much so I wash fold or box anything I dont want, didnt like or is just in the way and take them to the homeless shelter. They are clean and new to someone who has no money.
