BANNED! | Change all your passwords connected to the fraudulant email anyways!! They can still get your info, so please immediately go change passwords for your protection. They have fishing filters that can grab info you don't know they got. |

| Oh gosh...if you gave them ANY info before finding out it was a fraud, you better change your password. You didn't fill out any credit card or bank info, did you? When I used to get those type emails, I'd go to the link and type in a bunch of bogus stuff. Then my sister was going to do the same and even without putting an real info in, they still were able to somehow mess with her Paypal. I don't know how that happened, so I no longer go to the links and type in stupid things.

| I've had this also...I've even had it in my online bank, I logged on as usual but there was a page asking for my password, pin & the 3 digit code on the back of the card my husband called the bank & it was not them...I hear there is A LOT of this going on where scammers will insert a page in a legitimate site to ask for & intercept your info...we where told that NO ONE from a legit site will ever ask for this info, NEVER give it out...they said to always call the place & ask first You where lucky you weren't able to provide this info..

| Oh man, I had this happen once before. However, I was never asked for a pin. I thought I was just logging into paypal. I ended up having someone list a motorcycle under my name on Ebay. When the buyer paid, the money would have gone to their account and I would have been in big trouble. Thank goodness I got everything fixed. These people make me sick. Glad nothing bad happened to you.

Do this with ANY institution online that you deal with - if you ever get an email asking for ANYTHING - log into the site and go from there - ususally it's a phishing email asking for changes or updates - and these guys are GOOD - they can make it look just like the real sites | |

| I got one too but being curious I clicked on it and AOL blocked it stating that is a known phishing website.

| From now on forward all emails from paypal to spoof@paypal.com. In no time at all they will send you a message saying if it's legit or not.

| Also Paypal will always use your name when they email you. These scammers only refer to you as customer or nothing at all. When you get something like this, go in and put some phoney user id and password in and if it is a fake it will open right up so you know it isnt real. I get these all of the time from so called paypal and banks I dont even use saying they are locking my account unless I update all of my information. |

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | This is so scary! I get this kind of crap in my e-mail ALL the time. 99% of ANY e-mails I get saying that they are from PayPal, are indeed NOT from PayPal at all. The "real" PayPal actually only e-mails me ONCE in a blue moon. I get alot of these same e-mails pretending to be from eBay. Just for future reference - if any of you get these e-mails...immediately forward them to: spoof@paypal.com and spoof@ebay.com
