I'll be praying for your father's health & his depression, for you and your family, and for the doctors & nurses who will be operating on him and caring for him. I hope everything goes smoothly. Please try to turn your worry over to God, he'll take care of everything for you.

I too am sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my dad a couple years ago to cancer and I know how scary it is for you. Keep your faith strong that he will be ok and the surgery will heal him. I know how depressing it has to be for him and I am sure he is so scared right now. All you can do is be there for him and give him strength to get thru the surgery and then maybe he will start to feel a little more optimistic about things and that will lift his depression. My prayers go out to your and your family at this time.

I will be praying for your sweet Dad. There are so many amazing things that can be done in medicine. My granddaughter's fiance's Mom had this same surgery recently and it was amazing! Even though she had put it off ... they removed her kidney and got all the cancer out and she doesn't even have to have chemo. She was up and walking the next day and home soon after! Give your Dad hugs from us and assure him that we are all praying for him!
