I started the thread on babydoll faces. And I DID NOT Pm Jenn218 about her Mojo. I dont know who did but i just wanted to clear it up to let everyone know it was not me.

Just so that you know No it was NOT me that pmed her about Mojo.

I think we all need to remember that sending mean, rude PM's is against the rules but if the recipients of those PM's is not willing to say who is sending them there is nothing I can do about it.

It is my understanding that that has been what is going on lately. If someone is politely asking about your dogs, I don't see a problem with that. If the PM's are rude, malicious, and bother you all anyone needs to do is report it but to my knowledge that has not happened yet.

I'm looking for a little female and have pmed breeders and some members in my area looking for referrals, info, etc.

One member's response was a good idea if you're not comfortable giving out your breeder's name. She said she would contact her breeder with my info
and the breeder could then get in touch with me. I gave her my contact information. Her breeder can even look me up here and see my posts, threads, etc.

Someone else posted a very good idea this week. In view of the somewhat bizarre stuff going on, if a post looks fishy, just don't reply.

I forgot to mention that I got unusual PMs from a member (one with over 2,000 posts, so not some random spammer) telling me to check out her post as to why she's been "M.I.A." :rolleyes:


I thought it was kinda weird but didn't think much of it.

The biggest problem I can see with making this a donating forum is how do forums like that get new members? I know I would have never joined YT if I had to donate first because I wouldn't have known it was worth it.

It is very strange to see what is going on lately and I'm so sorry for the people who are being targeted but the good thing to see is how most of us really rally together when a member is being attacked. I think these nutty people are just proving what an awesome group we are!;)

Now that I was M. I. A. for some time and have over 2000 posts, this is not me. Now we are all getting so paranoid.

Oh yeah, I meant to also say- I am a member of a non yorkie forum that does not allow new members to PM. I think it's a pretty good policy. New members should get to know the forum and allow the other members to get a feel for them before they can contact someone personally. I don't know if that would help at all with what has been happening and it probably wouldn't but I still think in general it's a good policy.

Oh that is so good to know;) I would hate to be the cause of anyone being upset.

Hi everyone.....I am in a hurry getting ready to leave town for the weekend, but I wanted to clear up things.........I haven't gotten anything personally that made me post this. I have gotten some strange PMs lately and I know many of you have PM'd me telling me that you have gotten the same PM (just recently after this ordeal with Brooke)...I forwarded my PM to Admin regarding this person (who has been here for awhile and has a lot of posts)...I ask that you all do the same...there is just something not right.

I personally don't mind people asking about Mojo (so, please if anyone feels that I am aiming this post at you, believe me, I am not). I am just referring to some strange PM's I have gotten...where people can't talk on PM, but want numbers to call them.....Please anything strange....ask Admin about it and maybe they can check it out.

Also, I just tossed out the thought of being a "closed forum" or for donating only as a THOUGHT.....to get ideas of what everyone thought of this. I know it was brought up in the past several times and Admin didn't want to close off this wealth of information on here....and I can understand that.

I just know that some forums (not dog related) that are closed to donating members, are wonderful....nothing really happens and it hasn't hurt the members numbers either.

I know paying or not paying, there will always be opinions from one that the other doesn't like.....this is not what I am talking about.

I am talking about people stealing information, scammers, sending PM's wanting information and the like......you know when something is not right....you just get that gut feeling. I normally never give out personal information, so yes having internet smarts is a must......I just think that lately there have been too much happening...too much bad things that are happening, personal things...etc. There has to be a way to stop this.

Okay, I hope I cleared up anything that might have been misunderstood.

I don't even remember that, but it wasn't you:p .....I am not talking about this sort of thing.......some PM's have gotten pretty strange. And I only ask that if you have recently gotten some...which I have seen some of you post in this thread about them.......please PM Admin....maybe there is a connection to something here.........:mad:

Jenn do you remember that Guy I wont say names but the one who called his yourkie the dog ,it and all maybe he is some how doing it??? I don't know if you can hijack a username but maybe?

Usually with pay forums you can read threads but you cant post unless you join...you cant pm people unless you join either..and you cant look at the member list or view pictures either...you can read though and if you like you can join..
