I am posting Becca's email I am about to go up to the hospital. so this will be easier.
well his scans all came back awesome! his ventricle sizes have reduced (not alot, cause they dont want the brain to collapse again, but enough to make a difference). we were actually scheduled for discharge today, however mikey decided at the last minute, he was not going to eat again. we have been trying to get him to eat, and he is refusing it. so now they have to put the NG tube in again and keep him here until he eats properly. hoping we go home soon! talk to you all later!

Oh I'm sorry to hear Mikey is once again not eating. Prayer's still
coming for him to keep him safe.

Hi everyone
good news. well i am scared to post this but mikey is eating well and even better then well. He is supposed to eat 60 cc of formula or breastmilk and he is taken 70 to 75 by bottle. IF all goes well tonight he will be going home tomorrow. That is the part i really didnt' want to post do not want to jinx it. Oh this will be so good if he comes home tomorrow. I didn't hear from becca until tonight i have been calling her and all but nothing. I was trying to give Babybear some special time today and tonight so i am a little late.
I hope everyone had a great weekend. If mikey comes home tomorrow then my weekend will be complete.
Thank you all for checking back time and time again for his updates and thank you for all your prayers.

Mikey is home after a month and 3 days.
 
HI all,
He is home and can sleep in his own bed fro the first time in over a month tonight. I am so excited, but again i am down sick with a cold starting so i can not see him for a few days. I think my body finally said hmmm everything is coming to an end so you can now relax and bammo i got sick. Oh well as long as my little tough guy is home and well that makes me feel good. I have to run need to go take some more meds and lay down. My eyes are burning and having a hard time typing. Thank you all for aeverything. You are such a great family

as soon as I can go see Mikey I will take some pictures of him and I will start a new thread with Mikey's pictures so be looking for pictures of this little tough guy we all prayed would make a full recovery and did. I am so happy. I can not wait to get some pictures of him this week maybe depends on how i feel i will not go see him if i am not feel well do not want to make him sick.

First of all I want to say....Thank you God for answering all of our prayers and putting your healing hands over Mikey. Second, I want to say Horray...I am so glad Mikey is finally at home and I bet that bed feels so good to Becca. I hope Mikey continues to thrive and doesnt need anymore hospital visits. Val you need to get some rest and take care of yourself also. Mikey and BabyBear need you to be healthy. I am sooooo happy to hear this good news.
