| Oh I'm sorry. It was probably sick to begin with which is why you found it laying on the ground. No matter what you did it's my guess it would have died anyway. I'm sorry but bless you for trying.

| Weird! We found a baby bird in our front lawn last Sunday. We called the local police office and they gave us a number of some ''Animal humane group''. So we didnt touch it and left it there overnight. Fisrt thing in the morning, I went outside to see if it was still alive and to our surprise it was! So we called the number the police gave us and someone from the ''animal humane grp" came within the our and took it in a box. We asked where they were goin to be taking it and they said a ''bird sanctuary'' FAR from us. I thought it was so nice they came and saved it! The guy said it is a very young baby. So I think that's what you should do...I wouldn't bring it in the house..
