texas weather does indeed SUCK. here in houston its horrible!!! nothing but rain and a million% humidity[exaggeration

] im soo tired of it! and not to mention the mosquitos that love this weather, so i cant even go outside to check the mail without getting atleast 3 bites. *GROWL* i sware, im so close to just packing my bags and heading up north.

AMEN!!! It's raining a bunch in North Texas too. It's crazy. I've never seen the Trinity so high. Usually the part that I go over looks like a dry river bed...it's definitely a river now!

I know its crazy! You guys be careful......we are flooded all over town!
It is so devastating. I feel so fortunate my house did not get hit, but have several friends that have lost their homes and animals. It's going to take a long time to clean up and rebuild. Here is just a few of many pics to share.

I too, am so tired of the rain - it has rained all day today and it was supposed to be drier today, but no such luck.

However, I am so sad for everyone in parts of Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas who is having such horrible flooding. Fortunately for us, we are just having dreary rainy weather.

I'm so sorry for everyone who has lost so much.

Also, I know when it stops raining, it probably won't rain for 6 months and we will all be so sorry we complained (about the rain, not the flood).

Hey Brooke -

We just retruened from Dallas a few days ago. It rained everyday we were there , but I still really enjoyed Dallas! It is a wonderful city. We stayed at the W Hotel -Victory. The hotel was wonderful. We even went to Ghostbar ( OMG - never thought I would be in the club with twenty year olds

).

Everyone there kept apologizeing for the rain. We had a wonderful time anyway! Hope it clears up for you guys soon.

Can you send some of the water to us in Florida. We have been on the opposite side of all the rain. Our lakes and ponds are down 3 to 4 feet, and we are on water restrictions.
