| I'm in DEEP doo doo!!! Yesterday I worked out in the yard all day. I had to replace all our rose bushes because they didn't make it through the winter. I had worked up all the soil, and then went into the garage to get a tool that was hanging on the wall and when I did, I bumped the lawn edger and that came down and hit my husband's pick up and also hit me in the leg. *OUCH* The pick-up has scratches all the way down the passenger door! My husband is out of town and won't be back till Monday and I've got this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that won't go away. That pick up means more to him than life itself! I am so scared of what he will say or do when he finds out. I am thinking Maddie and I should load up my little honda and get the heck outta here! My friend says I need to call him and that way he'll have a couple of days to cool down. I guess I will probably do that...later. The sooner I tell him, the sooner I can get rid of that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. The thing is...he had edged the lawn the evening before and hadn't hung it up correctly, or it never would have come down with just a bump. Course, it's going to be all my fault no matter what. *GULP* His pick up wouldn't have been parked in that area if that stupid lightening hadn't fried our garage door openers. Also, if he had mulched the rose garden last fall...which is his job...I wouldn't have even needed that tool because I wouldn't have had to replant. So many "ifs", but they don't count. Sooooo...if you all never hear from me again, you can pretty much figure why!!! Wish me luck! |

| Last summer I was trying to get the 4-wheeler in gear and somehow got it in reverse. I took off backwards....towards the truck. I just froze. Instead of putting on the brakes, I started yelling no, no, no. I had that dear in head light feeling and just couldn't react. I smashed it pretty good. I called hubby and he was braced when he came home. Then he said.......no biggie . I was almost throwing up I was so sick and then he just says stuff happens. Go figure. Anyway, I too was fixing to run away and it wasn't a big deal after all. So, have some faith in hubby, it will be ok.

| Well Accidents do happen and I'm sure your husband will be understanding but I know how u must feel. this could have happen to him and he could have scratched his truck and he would be mad too. My son closed the garage door on my new Black Lincoln LS while I wasn't home (but he said the dog jumped on top of the car) he had called me to ask if he can move the car so he can pull his car into the garage to wax his I said ok, well he misjudge the distance and so when he shut the door there he hit my car I couldn't prove anything so I was pissed but couldn't prove anything since I wasn't home. I knew he was lying. darn kids LOL |

| Thanks, all...for your support! I called my husband this afternoon...told him what had happened and that I have felt just sick about it. He said, "Well, I wish you hadn't called me because now I can feel sick all weekend too." I guess he's totally ticked at me. Oh well...isn't the first time and surely not the last. *sigh* |

Whenever one of us wives dings the car we call one of the other wives who has all these things to fix them up. I myself was impressed with some of the work. Every nieghborhood should have a system like this lmao |

| Awwww Connie, i feel for u - just tell him that the scratch on the car can be fixed, if it had cut ur leg it might not have been able to get fixed - ask him whats more important and tell him if he had done what hes suppose to do this wouldnt have happend! Dont get urself worked up and dont feel guilty - accidents hide in little corners, u didnt purposly scratch his truck! U were trying to help by sorting out the roses! Stand up for urself girl, u can do it!

| I am glad you talked to him Surely you must be more important than any car and he won't be mad at you, but just sad his toy is scratched...I hope he hugs you and says: "Don't be scared of how I'd react honey, it's you I love! We all make mistakes!"
