| I'm sure you already feel like a new person! I had mine out a few years back and the relief was immediate Had it out on Friday and went back to work on Monday. It's amazing what doctors can do now. You'll feel so much better now.

Today is the first day I didn't take pain pills every 4 hours, yay. I feel very tender, but on Thursday I go for my followup, and from what I understand most of the healing should be done. It's just incredible what they can do these days. Before this would have been a surgery that would have cut through the abdominal wall, which would have meant months of recovery, but besides moving like I'm 80 years old, lol, and unable to bend over very well -- I can walk, sit, and function well. Again, Dr. Thomas said that my recovery is going slower than normal because I'm still recovering from the pancreatis that the stones caused. If I hadn't procrastinated and gone to the doctor when I started not feeling right months ago, I'd have saved myself the hospital trip as well as a lot of pain. I know I've learned my lesson, it's just hard we don't have insurance since Donald opened his shop, and we are still paying on Donald's medical bills from the snake bite. I knew I needed to go the the Dr to find out what was going on, but kept putting it off thinking that once we had Donald's stuff paid off I'd talk to my Dr. about the tummy problems. Oh well, hindsight is 20/20. Thank you everyone for your support and concern; I'll keep you posted on what my primary Dr. says at the followup on Thursday.
