| There is one of the best examples I can think of to get your pets microchipped. But what about the poor people who have not done so? How do they prove it is their dog? This is so disconcerning! If I ever loose a dog I think I will report it as stolen no mater what. That way the police will have a report. |

| Yes and as sure as I am sitting here there will be people coming forward to say a dog is theirs and it was stolen from them and it was never their dog. There are scam artists everywhere so I am not sure unless the dog is microchipped or tattooed how they can prove it unless they have some pretty good pictures of the dog that matches the dog in question. |
