| please watch out for what you purchase on ebay. lots of fakes out there. i purchased some lacosta shirts for my husband to come and find out they were fakes. also, someone i know purchased tanning bed lotion, come to find out it was just jergens lotion in the bottol. please beware of the scams.

I bought an authentic Louis Vuitton wallet for $10 on eBay. The listing said "I don't know if it's real or not" so not many people bid on it. But I thought it was great either way, so I bought it. When it got here I took it to a Louis Vuitton boutique & asked them if it was real or not, they said it was & ordered me a new certificate of authenticity.

| Is a live auction different from the normal bidding on things? I've purchased a bunch of things on ebay. I am working on one purchase that didn't turn out so well. If was something I let my daughter pick out versus something I chose. May end up costing me $175. But generally, I just research to see what it is, who is selling it, how much they have sold, and everything else has worked out really well. Janelle |

| I have purchased a lot of things from ebay and have had good luck. However, non of them were designer items. I agree with Lisa. If you are purchasing designer items, be sure you check thoroughly so that you can help assure that you are getting authentic items. Since I don't watch TV, next to YT, ebay is one of my greatest forms of home entertainment. |

| I love eBay! I buy a lot of stuff there (once in a while I get a bad deal, but I don't buy expensive things). I never did a live auction. Please post and let us know about it. Can I ask you what you're buying?

| I've been shopping on Ebay since it very first started and have, for the most part, been very happy with my purchases. But, I've never been part of a live auction. It's for a pair of earrings. I'll let you guys know how it goes. I bid very low, so I don't expect to win. |

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | eBay Live I have participated in Live eBay auctions. However, I always place my bids before the auctions begin. When watching them live, they go really fast. I have won some and lost some. Good luck!

| Make sure that you read all that's written. The live auctions add a "buyer's premium" which is a percentage added to your bid. Also, on most of the auctions that I've looked at, you have to arrange for packing and shipping with another company. As I said, make sure that you read everything in their listing.
