I looked down and there on the rug by my foot was an egg! Thank goodness it landed on a rug. She hasn't laid any eggs since I put them both into a extra large cage. But she still flirts. She will strip Cosmo's crest for him, but he won't do her's so I do. And both of them will eat just about anythingand they love chicken and bacon.

ooo i thought you meant that they did mate already but the eggs just weren't hatching. Yes they do mate lol Yes Cosmo has to fertilize them. I wonder why they haven't. I guess it just takes time. My pair that I had were together for about a yr before they actually had eggs. We never caught them mating, I guess they did it when we were out. Are you on that forum? I used to be one one a loong time ago but I forgot the link and can't find it now. It was very helpful.

When JuJu flirts, Cosmo runs to his mirror saying "What the heck?" (seriously, he does!) and does what he is supposed to do with JuJu to his perch while watching himself in the mirror!!! I guess Squirrely Bird is a pretty appropriate name . I don't know if he is afraid of her or just doesn't know what to do, or is just gender challenged. I was on the forum till we moved and I can't remember the name, but I will find it.

LMAO Cosmo is one funny dude!! Since mine are all males right now they do run to the mirror when they whistle. It's like they're talking to themselves. Or flirting with themselves..they are so funny!
