| Could Really Use YT Prayers! My husband and I could really use some prayers right now. We are in the process of painting a couple of rooms in our home in order to try to sell it. I am tearing up just typing this....hate giving up our home. My husband was in sales and he decided that he really misses teaching elementary. It is very difficult to find a decent teaching position in this area, but he accomplished that and found a position as a special education teacher in a good school district. I want to support his decision because it was a big one for us...I want him to be happy in his life, this including his career. The reason for leaving this home is because of the house payment and what his pay will be as a teacher as opposed to when he was in sales. I know that, one day, we will be where we want to be financially so I am trying not to be upset right now. Our home is 6 years old and the one that we are thinking about renting is much (much!) older....that's not a problem, just an adjustment. The size difference with the two homes will also be a change for us. It seems that the people in our neighborhood are having a problem selling their homes and I would like to ask for prayers that we are able to sell our VERY quickly (on our own, no realtors). I would LOVEEEEEEEEEE to make some of a profit from this house, too!!! May I please just ask for prayers that we are able to sell, make a profit and that it is a fast sell? Also, the home that we would like to rent has other people that are on the list for it, too....if it's meant to be for us to be in that particular rental home, then I pray that it all goes smoothly for us and our 2 toddlers. I am about in tears right now, but I have to remind myself that we have our health and these are just "things". And, if anyone knows of a great home for a kitty, please let me know...we have to now rehome our sweet Lily. Tammy Last edited by TammyJM; 06-17-2007 at 02:41 PM. |

| I will be thinking of you and I'm so sorry about your situation. I know it may not seem like it right now but everything will work out for the best. It always does and congratulations to your husband for going back to doing what he loves |

| Tammy, you have my prayers going up already. It sounds like to me you and your husband are two very special people. I guarantee that you will be rewarded for the sacrafices you are making. What you "get" might not necessarily be in terms of $$ but believe me, you will be rewarded. hugs to you and your family |

| Oh, I'm so sorry you're having to go through this. I sure hope you'll be able to sell your home on your own very quickly for a good profit and you get the rental you want. Hang in there... Hugs to you |

| I know it is hard - but I also know that working in a job that is not right or one that you don't like is also very very hard. Your husband's happiness and satisfaction in his job and the meaningfulness of his work is so very important. I can tell by your message that you understand this - I applaud you for this. I know some wives would just badger their husbands to stay in the higher paying job so they could keep the house, car, jewelry, etc. That kind of mentality can end up costing more than all those material things can ever bring. The stress of doing something you do not like can damage your health, your relationships and your whole life. I commend you for supporting your husband in this decision - you are a wonderful person. Of course, it hurts to give up this special house - but the coming rewards for you, your husband, and those wonderful children will be worth it all! Good luck!!!

| I will be praying that everything will work out for your family according to God's will. Keep your chins up and remember that when one door closes, God will open another!!
