| Flooding Big Time Here Hey is anyone else in this Kansas/Missouri/Oklahoma flood area? I am from NE Oklahoma, but back and forth between there and SE Kansas (45 minutes away) for college summer school... The Spring River was at like 15 at 4 pm, 20 is flood level and it was over the road when I left to come back to school tonight. By Thursday it's expected to be at 33.5 and theres a chance of rain everyday here. So many people are losing their homes in this flood also there has been people lose their lives, please pray for them. It's crazy. I hope our cows and calves stay out of the creeks on our farm. They are like a river now. It's getting bad.... We have 2 Rivers that run through this area, and they are both way out of their banks... Wild Wild Weather! Ok, I'm done freaking out... Thanks for listening... Here's a link from around here with all kinds of info. http://fourstateshomepage.com/content/news

| My thoughts and prayers are with you. It seems lately either fire or flood are taking a toll. I don't live near a river and can't imagine what it would be like. Stay safe. |

| Thanks! I can't believe the water! It's insane! They are comparing this to the flood we had in 1993, but are expecting it to be way worse. Thats so scary. A lady in my class this morning was saying that the river was 200 yards from her house now, and she hoped it didn't rain anymore. Then, it started a down pour. So I'm sure by now they are out of the house and taken everything with them. It has to be flooded now. I'll keep you updated, it seems it may take a boat to get back and forth from home to here for awhile...

| I'm so sorry to hear this. I'm from northwester OK - but live in Texas now. I remember the 1993 flood - I sure hope this is not worse than that one!!! Good luck, check in and let us know that you are OK.

| Thanks, I will check in. I'm so worried about the people that live along the rivers. Last week when it wasn't flooding yet, but the water was moving pretty good, we had some 15 year olds jump off a bridge into a river for fun. One of those didn't make it back out, so it's been horrible around here.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | Be safe! We live in NE Okla too and agree this is WILD! Fortunately we live high up on a hill and flooding isn't a problem for our home......the roads are another matter though. Trying to get to some areas of town are impossible. I swear we've not had one day this past 30 days without either almost complete cloud cover or rain......very little sunshine and when it does shine...MAN, Oh MAN.....Humid - isn't even a good word for it - we need a whole new word to describe this! Where is the Spring River in Okla?

| I am in NW AR but we haven't had any flooding. We have had lots of rain so far this year and the rivers are getting close to over full from the waters coming from the north. I hope everyone is safe!!! Please keep us all updated. Oh, the humidity is HORRIBLE here! We went to Little Rock last week and a guy asked if it was always so hot there. He said that it was even hotter than where he was from.....he was from AZ (I believe he said Phoenix). Crazy!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | We are at the lower end of Lake Hudson, near the Neosho River, in Chouteau. LOL....We've gone to Quapaw for HS football games before, if I remember correctly they beat our butts!! It started raining here this morning around 11 and hasn't let up at all. This is after all the rain the past few weeks! I know you all got more rain over the past few days than here.....also know that what you all got, is making it's way here fast!! Stay safe - and dry if possible!

Donating YT 500 Club Member | HAHAHA....what a coincidence! I've probably seen you at the games before. My son and nephew both played football. How's the flooding today, better? We are drying out some here, thank goodness!
