| I live in coastal SC and it's hot here too! It's been over 100 heat index for a straight week now. My A/C is running on high and is set to 70F but it can't get down past 77 even on high!!!! Thank God for my swimming pool!

Caren what in the heck is going on with your electric bill?! I just pulled mine out and it was $170. I'm a big cold wimp though so maybe that's why. I crank the AC way down when people are over and freeze but by myself during the day I keep it at 78- I know everyone thinks I'm crazy.
