i have been in a similar siuation and we nearly lost our farm and everything we own a few years back. we couldn't even file bankruptcy becausee of a trust fund that we couldn't touch at the time, that would have taken care of everything so we struggled and struggled and finally things did work out. i know there is power in prayer and God has never failed me yet nor will He fail you. just remember if He cares so much for the little sparrow that falls from the sky, how much more He cares for you.

I am so sorry that you are going through this Amber :( I can definately feel your pain. We are going through the same thing right now. I have two small boys myself 2 and 10 months and our mortgage got behind because of medical problems and medical bills. Our company is doing the same thing to us that yours did to you except they havn't done the foreclosure thing yet and I pray it doesn't come to that. I just had them send a check back to me refusing payment this past month so believe me I know how it feels to be scared to death about losing your home. We have tried to get refinanced as well with no luck because it has ruined our credit. You and your family will be in our prayers and if you ever need someone to talk to I will be here for you.

I am so terribly sorry. All I can offer is my prayers! We have all been in these impossible situations at one time or another and completely understand where you are. The only thing I know for certain is that "all things work together for good ..... ". God bless you and your family.

The company I work for sells home loans on the secondary market at lower rates. I know we have programs for people with credit problems (even though I know it's not your fault). Check with some of your local lenders to see if they have any programs like that.

thank you that is what we are doing we are just at the cut off and that is why we are hoping to beable to get it.the guy we are working with is great i really hope he can find us a lender. it's just most lenders know you are backed into a corner and either they won't help you or they take you for everything.

My heart goes out to you Amber. Just about everyone has been in a situation similar to yours at one time or another. We got royally scr--ed by 2 financial institutions at the same time. The trick is to find a lending institution that cares more about people than about money. We have had the best customer service with Bank of America. They helped my dtr in SC (that's in another thread) when things went all wrong for her. I would check with them if they are near you. We have dealt with them in 4 different states and they have gone out of their way to help us with any problems that arose. But, whatever happens, you have my prayers that things will work out for you and your family.

The only thing worse than those are health problems and it sounds like your family has had its share of those as well.

Amber, I sure hope this goes through for you. When I think of how much time and energy you spent on the GE for Brea when you were having so much trouble.... it makes everything you sent even more special. :) You have a big heart and I hope that things turn around quickly for you. :hug:

Sending you the prayers you asked for. Haven't been on quite as much. I had to get a job since Hubby's company he works for is having problems. He was due a raise, & never got it. Now they are only working him 4 days a week. Hopefully it won't last long. I'm working all the hours I can. I'm just glad I don't have little children at home, so I can. Hope all goes well for you, & I'll keep you in my prayers daily.

Amber, I am sorry to hear about your situation. Believe me, I know how hard it is to get behind and have to try and recover from that especially if you are like me and live from paycheck to paycheck. I am sure you will find the loan for you. Alot of banks lend to people with not so great credit. You may have to pay a higher interest rate but you can do that until you credit bounces back up and then refinance again. Sometimes you just got to do what you have to do for that moment. You should feel very lucky that you dont have a mountain of debt and alot of credit cards racked up to add to your worries. There are alot of people in your situation that thought they were getting a great deal with the ARM loans and now are in your position after the initial low interest rate goes up. The banks dont care either, because that is how they make their fortune. They hope you default so they can reposses your house and resell it for alot more than the loan is. Dont lose sleep, I am sure you will get the loan that you are needing. Prayers and good thoughts going out to you. Keep your head up and it will be better in no time.

Take care and try not to worry. I know it's easier said than done. But seriously, make yourself BELIEVE that the refinance WILL go through...Praying for you!!

It doesn't look like we are going to be able to get it done:( i am so upset. we are waiting on one last option but it doesn't seem it will happen. i really appreciate you all praying for us and keeping us in your thoughts we appeciate it more than you'll ever know.

Oh hon, I feel sooooo badly for you. There's not a whole lot worse than financial problems like that! We are constantly struggling to make ends meet. I am hoping with all my might that everything gets worked out for you!!!!

I just wanted to give an update........

Sorry i have been MIA latley i have been a little depressed and i have been working my butt off trying to get this Refi done. We have an option although it's not the best i am taking what i can get here. We will know this week if it is going to go through. I really want to thank you all for the Pm's and prayers and wonderful things you guys have said it means a lot to me and i am so glad that i have you all for support. i will keep you all updated as i find out. Honey sending tons of prayers and good thoughts your way. I am so sorry for all that is happeneing. Sometimes life sure can throw us some curve balls. Hubby and I just went through a 5 month stint where he was unmployed (with no income since he is selfemployed)...so I sure know how hard it can be (three kids, mortgage, two car notes plus regular expenses). No pity but lots of love from us all.

Boy do I ever feel for you!!!! Hubby and I about lost everything after I spent some time in the hosp, and just as things were looking up I was in a car accident and things got seriously worse.... Hubby lost his job when all of this happened and he spent 6 months out of work taking care of me and we are still catching up on things.... Life only recently got back on track, and it crashed last september.

I'm going to pray with all my might! I know so many people prayed for me and it helped. Its so hard to recover from money setbacks, but you do recover, even if it feels like forever... The credit is the worst! Ours will take years to fix:( But thank god everyone is ok... And thank god you guys can say the same, right?

Hey Amber, I know what you are talking about....We are in the same situation as money being tight. I know its hard but God will make a way. I no longer have a job, so we are only on my husband's income and girl I can tell ya some stories on how we have barley made ends meet and sometime we wouldn't....we still have bills we haven't paid yet, we want a new home, we need another car....but hey you said it right PRAYERS.........and they do work especially in large numbers. Do you have any family or friends that would take care of your kids while you go out and work? That would give you a lower rate on daycare plus bring in some extra money..to me that would be the best thing, if you need extra money go ahead and find a job and find someone that would take care of your kids or get a job where when your husband comes in thats when you go to work....You have to do all what you can to make it...I know its hard but you have to fight it out.....Prayers from Louisiana coming your way and ohhhhh I can tell ya some stuff about someone really being drepressed I was especially having no where to go after the hurricane when your apt was condemed with mold...You know how I think about it there is always someone else going through more pain than what you are going through so don't think its the end of the world or why is this happening to me...not that your pain isn't anything because I read it and its alot but what God brings you to he will make a way to pull you through...PRAYERS & BLESSINGS COMING YOUR WAY!!!
